My 26th birthday is December 18th, so I am heading up to universal studios and islands of adventure that weekend with the girlfriend and best friend. I remember when I was younger, I once went to magic kingdom and in the evening they had these machines that blew tiny bubbles everywhere which made it look like it was snowing. This was in December(of course). I was curious if they do anything similar at universal or islands. I think it'd be great if they had snow machines that shot snow into the air for all the park visitors to walk through and play in.

Also,
what do you think the weather will be like(temperature wise)while I am up there? I live in south florida(west palm beach), but the weather is pretty different compared to orlando. It's hot as hell here.

Thanks!

For Christmas to see the soapy snowflakes you would probably have to go to Magic Kingdom or to Disney's Hollywood Studios for their Osborne Spectacle of dancing Lights.I think I may have seen snow during the Macy's Holiday parade at Universal but I'm not 100% sure.I do however remember Universal using a soap foam machine to fill up an entire street in about 6 feet of foam for Halloween Horror Nights. As far as weather and temperatures I'm about an hour or so south of you so I know what you mean by hot.Orlando in the winter gets a bit colder, about 5-10 degrees colder however if a cold front passes Orlando but stalls over South Florida it could be 70 degrees in Miami and 45 in Orlando. In the summer it's actually opposite as South Florida being on the coast will usually be a couple of degrees cooler, well not really cooler but Orlando could be 95 degrees while Miami is at 91.

I think at the end of the Macy's parade they have the confetti cannons down by the Mummy.

As for the temperature, just keep checking the weather channel or accuweather, that's what we do. We try to go every year and some times its warm and sometimes its really cold. The worst was in 2009. It was cold (40's ) and rain the whole weekend.:scared1:
