Ok cruisers- lets get some chatter going- just a little over a week to go, is everyone ready? I have 6 days of work and then we leave for Fla.!!! Not packed yet but working on it.
We're getting snow right now, hope we don't get the same next Thurs.!

Snowing to beat the band here in Md! Schools are closed, so the grands are here and the house should be rockin' today .

Funny, I don't care how early you plan things, there is always that last rush . Have my list, checking it twice, mark things off day by day, making piles that want to head south!! Hope to decorate for Christmas and get the cards signned this week-end. Can you believe in 9 days we'll be on the Magic at the sail away party w/o as care in the world ? CAN"T WAIT!!

Today's my DD's last day of school as they have a PD Day tomorrow so she is really wound up! I am too...just today and tomorrow morning at work for me.Tomorrow afternoon we are going to cut down a tree, Saturday is the last minute packing as Sunday is a surprise 40th B'Day party for my sister. Then we are off bright and early on Monday morning. Somewhere in there I need to squeeze in one last trip to Wal-Mart to pick some things up!

I'm just hoping we don't get another huge snow storm until we are well on our way to MCO.

Hey everyone! It's been snowing a bit here in Omaha, too! I'm now REALLY in the mood to get out of town and spend 7 glorious nights with MICKEY and the SUN! I can't wait!

We aren't even close to be being packed, either. I will definately get that done this weekend. We leave next Friday morning for the Hyatt (maybe I'll see someone by the pool which is what I'll be doing that afternoon) and then we are finally all off!!

Nope! This came from the SOUTH! I was just shoveling out LONG driveway and dreaming of the Carribbean! Was talking with my neighbor as I was shoveling and discussing where I will be a week from tomorrow. WOO HOO! Thank goodness we are no flying out tomorrow! May have been more difficult to get there! luv2tvl, we will be sitting by the pool at the Hyatt next Friday too! We arrive at MCO at 11am. We are having dinner on Merritt Island, but we should be hanging by the pool in the afternoon. I will walk around calling "Omaha?!" Will you answer? 4nana, my DH kicked into gear on Tuesday night and finished up our outside Christmas decorations last night. We have the icicle lights to put up around our carport, but everything else is done! Just in time with all this snow. We have at least 8" out there! I haven't packed yet. Have my piles. Picked up my Lysol last night. Can I carry that onto the plane? I hope so...Otherwise, I will have to buy some in Orlando. I need to do major laundry before I can pack. I did pick up the dry cleaning last night for the semi and formal nights. We are going to try and get a tree this weekend. Counting down....

Our gang will be at the Radisson@Port . I think Lillilace will be at the Rad. too, right ??? Let's hope Fla. warms up before then as we are counting on using that georgeous outside pool.

Anyone else having hard time finding 'lime green' ribbon!?!?!?!
It's as scarce as hen's teeth in Wladorf.

Target, We will be flying SW. Their policy says you can bring aerosols, but I will probably pack it and just have the Lysol wipies at hand.

SW policy:
**Personal care, medical needs, sporting equipment items containing hazardous materials (e.g., flammable perfume, aerosols) totaling no more than 70 ounces may be carried onboard. Contents of each container may not exceed 16 fluid ounces. Radioactive implants or radio pharmaceuticals that have been ingested or injected are acceptable. Packed? Not close. I am working on a list, though. This week-end will be for packing and getting a tree.

It has been Colllllddd here. Hard to think about shorts and swimming suits, but I sure enjoy trying to get images of the tropics in mind. In just over a week, it will be reality.

Can't believe it is almost here. We are flying in on Friday night and staying at an airport hotel - Marriott I think. Then driving over on Saturday morning.

Target-Yep, if you walk around the pool and yell "Omaha" I'll probably answer, but if you just yell "Emily" that would proabably work, too! I know I've said this before, but you will understand when you see me. You can't miss me and my RED RED hair.
I haven't found a lime ribbon either.... I'll just have to wing it. I do have a lime green tank top, maybe I'll just wear that for 7 days...
Have fun you all with your snow. Ours all melted and it's suposed to be around 49 degrees tomorrow! Wahoo!

Let the packing begin!!! I can't believe I only have 5 more days of work before leaving! I AM worse then my kids (although the two college ones are counting the number of finals left I am sure)! We have been waiting since our Christmas cruise last year, ignored it part of the year but now I can get a suitcase out and no one will laugh at me. Looking forward to searching out green - as close to lime as we can find - ribbons and sipping those wonderful umbrella drinks.

Hope everyone in the east gets dug out of the snow! Stay safe all!

Don't worry Emily. I haven't even begun the search for a ribbon. I will check Michael's craft store this weekend. I shoveled three driveways yesterday (we have quite a few elderly in our neighborhood, and being a spry 39, my husband and I thought we would lend a hand) so I am not moving very quickly today! I feel 80 today! I will kick into gear this weekend and get things packed. I have SOOOOO much laundry to do! UGH! Wrapped all the gifts for DD6 last night (DD14 helped) and I will wrap DD14 this weekend. Christmas cards are mailed and I have a hot date with my DH tonight (Celebrating my promotion). We hope to get our tree this weekend. Haven't decided if we are going to set it up or leave outside in a bucket. Can't bring ourselves to buy a fakie....In my spare time, I will look for lime green ribbon....... We are almost there folks! I have dumped a truckload of pixie dust on the 12/7 cruise. I hope everyone stays healthy and has a blast! See you around the pool, Omaha!

I wish I knew what everyone looked like. People are going to think I'm a wierdo since I'll be checking everyone that I see out for a glint of lime green ribbon somewhere. I'll be the "freaky staring girl" before the first day is up! LOL, my husband thinks I'm nuts!

Since we are leaving early on Monday morning and don't know if I'll get much of a chance to post over the weekend, I just wanted to wish everyone a safe trip and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone next week. I'll have my lime green "Hello My Name Is" tag hanging around my neck in the terminal!!
