Welcome!!! If you want to pm me your fe info or put it here in a post, I can add you to the web page. I can no longer post the link because I will get in trouble. We are also doing an ornament exchange and ladies mixology. You will be on the latecomers list for the FE. I am sure Thecastro will pop in and say hello too. She is running that list.
we are having a dis meet on the first day of the cruise in the Vista Café 3pm. If you cant find us anywhere else on the" internet" then meet us there and I can give you a copy of the fe list.

Ugh!!! I wish the dis "higher-ups" wouldn't make getting information to everyone so difficult now!!!

I'm sorry. I just noticed you don't have enough posts to private message me. The idea behind the fe is that you can give as much as you want or a little as you want.

I am going to quote Virg357. They are another member on our site. They summoned it up pretty well.

You sign up and say you would like to participate - include everyone in your family including their ages and if you have it your stateroom #. If you don't have your stateroom # yet don't worry as there is a meet set up on the first day to exchange the info. You will be added to the list and be able to see who else is on it along with their ages. Once upon the ship you hang a "fish extender" (basically a stocking of sorts) from the hook outside your stateroom. This can be home made or purchased (we purchased ours from etsy). They usually have a pocket with each family member having his/her own. Prior to boarding you have all the info of families participating - so you gather gifts for everyone on the list. Now, as everyone does, you are thinking "what the heck do I give strangers?" This is completely up to you. Everything from trinkets to booze for the adults has been given. It seems as if the handmade variety goes over well as it can be somewhat tailored to the age of the person. Cost and time are something to be factored as well. We are really trying to keep things under control by not "tailoring" to the individuals and giving things that are a bit more universal. Although this is a bit more difficult when the little ones are concerned. In the end I think (and I hope this sentiment is shared among all) its not what you give or how much it cost its just an additional fun thing to do. And hopefully it makes someone smile.
One of the questions I had was when (what day/time) this was all supposed to happen and I found I don't want to know. I want to do it randomly. Some here some there. Just to keep it interesting.
Sorry for the long explanation but I think when I was looking into FE I wish I would have read something like this as I haven't seen it explained thoroughly enough.

Can anybody do my family a favor? We sailed this beautiful ship this summer.

We as a family pick one Christmas ornament a year to commemorate the year. We buy one for the family and then one for each kid so when they start a family they will have ornaments as well for their first tree. We had picked the resin disney fantasy ship ornament with the aqua duck that retails for 15$ on disney store however they sold out. Found some in eBay and after I clicked buy they sold out, found some online and called the shop and said somebody just bought the last ones. I know it is a long shot but would somebody be willing to buy 3 of these ornaments, one for our family and then one for each of our kids? I would be happy to reimburse you the trouble, costs and shipping. My wife said she remembers they had some on the ship. Thanks for even considering.
