We are making our 2nd trip (1st ever in May 06) in December. We will be camping at Fort Wilderness Dec 1-9... hoping to run into some of you!!

DH & are going 12/1-12/8 and are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Maybe we will see you around!:wizard:

That's great, maybe we will run into each other!!!

We have a tentative trip planned for Dec. 15 - Dec. ? at the Contemporary (Atrium Level). Lots depend on our retirement plans and potential sale of our house but we really hope to get down to Disney for the holidays!

We are headed to WDW on 11/27-12/05 :goodvibes This will be our second trip this year. We are also planning on going in May. Staying at Ft Wilderness both trips. Maybe we will see some of you down there.

My DH and I will be going December 21, 2007-January 1, 2008. It will be our third trip there together, but our first one during this time of the year. We have only gone during the 4th of July week.

We are planning on celebrating the holidays, plus our 8th anniversary. We're also staying at a deluxe resort for the first time (Animal Kingdom Lodge). We've done All-Star Movies and Pop Century in the past.

Any suggestions since this will be our first time during this time of the year? Also, I welcome any suggestions on how to make it a magical holiday season and magical anniversary for us while we're there.

Bring on the tips! :cool1:

We'll be at FW 12/1-12/9... are you going to be in a cabin, ten or camper?

We'll be in a popup. I'm not sure what area yet, I plan on calling tonight to make ressie.

If you do not mind EXTREME and I do mean EXTREME CROWDS then this is a good time to go. Me, DH and DD10 just got back on Jan 2nd. Will NEVER, NEVER do Disney at that time of year again. We were at Magic Kingdom on New Years Eve and the crowd was so bad that you could not get down Main Street. If you wanted to leave they rerouted you through the employee areas. We finally left at 10:30 pm. It was not worth it. :sad2: :guilty: :sad2:
We were there from Dec 26-Jan 1. We went back to Magic Kingdom on the 1st and it was not to bad. It actually turned out to be our best day. Unfortunitly it was our last . :sad2:
Thats OK! We are headed back on the 23rd of May.:yay: :cheer2:

Thanks for the input! I really appreciate it. :goodvibes

I hear Christmas week is the busiest time of the year... but no wonder.. who wouldn't want to go then...

I also heard that this year the first week was really busy..I am so hoping that next year it will be a bit lighter and this year was a fluke... We shall see...

I'm hoping so too!! We planned the first week of December so we could see the Christmas decor, but miss the crowd. Our kids have said numerous times how awesome it would be to wake up Christmas morning at wdw! I would love that too, but we'll stick with our plan for the first week this time!!

Count us in! Girls' only trip. (We're letting the "menfolk" go with us in July.) Leaving late Christmas night and will be there on the 26th for 5 days. Yes, it will be crowded, but with a teacher's schedule, breaks are the only times we have to go. We're looking very forward to seeing the Candlelight Processional and the Osborne Lights and the countries of Epcot with all the Christmas activities going on.

 Just got off the phone making our reservation for Dec 1-8  I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all of you going during December of 2007: :santa:

I just created my first pre-trip report in the Trip Reports (Pre-Trip) section. If you guys want to read it and see what I'm doing, and add how you plan to spend your time in December, feel free. It's under the title: The Holidays & Our Anniversary!

Have fun reading and if it helps, why don't some of you try writing a report of your planning process? This is my first, but I figured that we have a long wait ahead of us, and this will help me along the way. :cool1:

Hubby and I just booked CBR Nov. 29-Dec. 15th. We'll be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary :cool1:
