Dec. Trip?

We have been to WDW a couple of times but never at Christmas. We are thinking of going Nov. 27th - Dec. 4th. What is there to see besides the Christmas decorations. I have heard the parades are different but don't know much about anything else. How are the crowds during that week? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Our family usually goes every year at the beg of Dec..everything is decorated and looks so beautiful..the crowds are usually low but the weather can be so unpredicitable (sp)..hot,cold,freezing,rainy we have been thru it all! 2002 MVMCP was rained out, we even got our money back! anyways please try it we always have so much fun and go to the different resorts to see how they are decorated..free roasted chestnuts at the GF, WL looks incrediable,every resort is decorated to the nines..have fun..Marianne PS we will be at the BW 12/5-12/10..

I definitely agree with the comment about unpredictable weather. Be prepared for highs between 50 & 85. \

Parades won't be different unless you're going to MVMCP. I think the MK only has the XMAS parade during regular park hours for XMAS week.

We were there at roughly the same time last year, and we were at the parks through the Monday after Thanksgiving. I think you'll see crowds the first weekend you're there, but it should thin out starting Monday.

The characters will be wearing winter/XMAS gear like scarves, hats, etc - really cute! The Osborne Family lights at MGM will be going then (although they weren't last year when we were there). Definitely check out the different XMAS trees at each park.

It is beautiful in December. Don't forget to resort hop to see all the beautiful decorations. The first week of December is our favorite time.
