Our Dec trip has very suddenly spun out of control. My husband and I go to the parks all the time but usually its just the two of us. Well word got out about our Dec4th weekend trip and now not only did my mom and younger brother jump on the bandwagon but our good friend and his 6yr old son are now coming too. We already had a two room suite booked at a "residence" Marriott but thats two rooms, a pull out sofa and ONE bathroom:scared1: for 6 of us and we can't find another available room at the hotel, they are booked solid already! Im not used to planning for so many people and im kinda at a lost. We are all going down in a mini van together and the distance from the hotel will require us to drive to the parks, if someone wants to go back to the hotel at different times does anyone know if the ART shuttle services the Town Place Suites on State College Blvd? Is it a good idea to book meals for everyone (we would have to split the bill) or give our guests the info they need and let them book their own meals if they chose? I know its going to be super busy that weekend and Im a little worried now. Help:confused3

I can really only help with one question...

I would include your guests in the PS's. The worst case scenerio is they do not want to go to the restaurant and sit out. Simple as that. I have done that several times now with guests on my trips and it works out fine.

I'm sorry I cannot answer your other questions, but I am sure everything will work out ok. I hope you have a great time!

By the way... See you there! :thumbsup2

Yikes! I can understand your mom and brother wanting to crash with you, but can't your friend and son get a room at the same hotel? Any deals for that property on Priceline or Expedia right now?

It's not even the space or bed that's the issue. It's ONE bathroom for five adults and a child when everyone is going to be trying to get ready at the same time early in the morning!!! :scared1:

Perhaps you can plan one meal a day when you all eat together and other than that let people make their own dining choices?

OK let see if I can help, because this seems like a normal trip for me. It seems when ever we go we have 3-8 tag-a-longs.
Question 1 ART services the hotel on route 15 ART Site
Question 2: What I do is plan for 1 sit down PS meal a day then I ask who is interested in joining me and I make the PS for everyone who is interested. (example Friday dinner at rainforest cafe Saturday late breakfast at carnation cafe Sunday lunch at Blue Bayou) I do check in with them to see if there is anything special they want to do. We split the bills, that has not been a problem.

Just a tip with a large group you can spend a lot of time standing around wondering what to do next, I find that always having an idea of the next stop very important to cut down on talk. Inbrace your inner leader and take charge you will have a lot more fun!!

One more tip with only 1 bathroom do not eat the cheeey gratin thing at the french market or if you do make sure you bring plenty of pepto bismal (personal experience . . . )

I had a different experience...LOVED it, though it was enough to share if my hubby had been along.

I'd let people find their own hotel rooms. Ask them if they want to eat with you, and if not, give 'em the Dining number.

Thanks for all the tips guys! The reason we are all sharing the room is because we went to our Marriott site and the hotel doesn't have a single room available for our dates! I couldn't believe it but I guess we aren't the only family who loves Disney at Christmas, go figure. It really only makes sense to stay at the same place because we are all car pooling down together in our friends handy-dandy minivan. If I make ps for a few places and then people decide they don't want to join are we going to have trouble checking in with less people? How late do they serve breakfast at the Carnation Cafe?
