i didn't get to meet any Dis members but I overcame my fear of stage fright and won a great backpack from the lip singing contest. The guy that beat me was amazing!

I thought the mixer was really nice. The kids loved the character greetings and treats.

I loved the 40% off DVC Dooney and Vera Bradley bags! Plus you get an additional 10% off with your DVC card!

Congratulations on your win!

I saw you! You were great. And the guy that beat you was outstanding.

Congrats!

You guys were both awesome!

The line to get in was huge, but moved super fast. We met Lilo and Stitch and got our ornament and cookies so I consider it a successful mixer.

I was so nervous and shaking lol! Thank you.

It was a nice way to get out of the heat and let the kids unwind a bit (and re-energize with tons of hot cocoa and cookies). We got in line around 2:30 and were able to meet Daisy/Donald, Lilo/Stich, purchased a bag and a pin, found a few seats, sang in the contest, and left around 4:45 with our ornament. I'm really glad we got to experience it!

Good for you!

We enjoyed the treats and got the ornament. We did not meet and Dis members there either! The line to get in, even at 3:30 was so very long, we did chat with the members who waited with us!

I arrived at about 3:20.... and couldn't even find the end of the line. I sat on a bench near the refreshment port, and waited to see the line move... and finally gave up (lost my patience never seeing the end of the line or see it move that quickly). How long did you all wait in line before you actually got in?

Around 3:30, we were walking from test track, and saw a line by the entrance to Le Cellier! It was that long, and probably took 20 minutes for us to get in the party. We probably stayed 20 minutes. We got to Chefs well before our 4:50 ADR, in fact they sat us by 4:30. That's about right, 20 min wait, 20 minute party, 20 minute walk.

The line was basically at the bathrooms right at the World Showcase entrance when we showed up at 3:30. We waited no more then 10-15 minutes. We had time to see Lilo and Stitch and could have jumped in the Daisy/Donald line right before they closed it around 4:15-4:20, but chose not to.

We got into line around 3:20. I couldn't believe where the end was! I had thought we'd be avoiding the initial rush but everyone else must have had the same idea. We finally got in, got our treat and had something to drink. Took a quick swing around the room as I looked to see if any possible DISer's stood out then we got our ornament and left.

Couldn't believe the line to get in to the Mixer. Couldn't believe the line for just about everything else. It is a nice concept, but I couldn't see wasting that much valuable vacation time for an ornament and Rice Krispy treat again. Probably the last year for us.

Mixers are only a December Holiday thing.

There used to be weekly Welcome Home Wednesday's but they stopped offering them a year ago or more.

We were there, too. We got there after 4pm so we only saw the last handful of lip-sync songs. My kids loved the Simon Says. My 8 year old made it down to top 10. She is usually pretty shy so this was huge. And her teen brothers got knocked out early, making it even sweeter.

They enjoyed the hot chocolate but those frosted rice krispie treats were SO sweet. When a kid can't eat it you know it is over the top. lol
