So, is my quess this will be a somewhat low crowd time accurate? My friend who has timeshare at trend west (dolphin's cove) wants to go with my dd and I. (so not having to pay for a room will help) We always travel to DL alone, but with another adult maybe I can finally do Space Mt. again (my fav but dd 6 won't go...........)

The weekend will be bad as is any weekend during the holiday season at Disneyland. However, I noticed when we went that same time in 2005 that even on Sunday afternoon it began to clear out a bit as it was a school night. Saturday will be crazy but you know to get there early so it will be good. For free lodging, how bad can any crowd be? Maybe your daughter will ride Space Mtn. next December, thats a long ways away. My nieces were wary (they were 5.5 when we took them in June) but once they did it they loved it and we couldn't get them off of it. Thank God, no more Gadgets Go Coaster once we got them on Space!

We were there this year the 10-13, Sunday through Wednesday and it was great. Even Sunday wasn't as bad as the usual Sundays I have been. But Monday was low crowds and Tuesday was even better!!!

Have fun and go for it! You can't turn down a free room!

We were there the same time in 2006 (Dec 7-10). Thurs (Dec 7) was awesome; everything was a walk on; no need for FP at all. Crowds picked up a little on Friday, but still just about everything was a walk on. Sat, I swear all of Southern California was in the park!! Sunday, there were moderate waits, but FP took care of most of those.
