Dec. 7, 2008 4 nite Mousefest Cruise - who's all going?

Wow, you guys have been busy chatting and I've missed the last page of posts. For some reason, I only got the last post update in my email inbox.

This will be our 3rd year in a row cruising the first week of December. That week always works out well since it's after football and before wrestling for our sons and they don't miss any games/matches. It's my birthday Dec 7 so it's always great to be in my favorite place on earth. I also love seeing the ships decorated for Christmas.

We had friends book this cruise in the last week and they will have a DS12, DS8, and DD6. It will be great cruising with friends for the 1st time. We've had grandparents on our other 5 DCL trips, but this will be the first time that our DSthen 11 and DS7(today!) get to have friends to hang out with.

Ray, thanks for the information on mousefest. I sort of knew what it was about from Allearsnet and seeing them at WDW last December, but you clarified a lot.

Its great to see that more kids are joing. The kids also have a blog. Have your sons join in. My boys will 6 & 8 at the time of the cruise. We sailed before but never at this time and I am so excited to see the ship decorated for Christmas.

not sure what to do I don't always get the notification either. So I try to check the boards every couple of days.

My sister and thought that it was a good idea to do something special for my boys since they hae had a really rough few months.

So we booked a mini Disney Vacation WHOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

we are going May 25-28th

but its a surprise so it's really hard not tell them I just want to explode.

That's really great and I know you all will enjoy it. Do try and keep it a suprise if you can stand to hold it that long. I wanted to keep this cruise a secret from my mom but just had to call and tell her when I made the deposit. And she has to get her passport done before we leave.
Does anyone know how many peeps where up to yet that will be on the cruise and DIS?

Yes I did start a list on my first post, I just haven't updated it yet. Sorry for those I haven't added to the list yet. I will try to update it these next few days here.

Clara, Adriane told me that your youngest has the flu. I hope he is feeling better soon! The boys will love a surprise in May. I know surprises are hard for me to keep too. I am always too excited and want to share the fun news with the kids. Are you going to go to the parks or on another cruise? Either way, it will definitely give you something to look forward to this spring.

What I GREAT surprise!!! I'm helping my DSIL plan her families first trip for around that time.

I'm still keeping the Curise a surprise for my girls. It's hard but to see their faces when they come home from school and the bags are packed and at the door will be so worth it.

Sadly, my poor 14 y/o dd is staying home. I know she wishes she could come but it's not in the cards.

He is better. The weather here is crazy. so the kids in school are getting sick and they are just passing along the love to one another. Thanks for asking.

No we are just doing the parks in May. We are staying @ the Coronado Springs. we have never stayed there but the TA said it was really nice. I figure for four days it should be fine.

yes my sister and I are so excited and I can't wait to see the look on their faces But they so deserve it. They have been amazing during these tough last few months.

Just wanted to wish everyone a great weekend!

My girls have their last day at school today before the start of March break. They had two days off this week for snow days and it could be a long weekend, we are getting a large winter storm here. They are calling for 40 cm of snow in the next day and a half.

I wish we had a trip planed to Disney
