Dec 6 Waitlist Chances of it coming thru

We decided last night that we wanted to extend our Dec trip (not because of Fantasyland opening up). We had toyed with maybe doing a long weekend in September but the flights are just too much so we are extending our December trip which we plan on driving anyway. Last night they had Dec 5-9 available on SSR this morning the 6th was blocked out for a studio what do you think the chances are of it coming through??? I went ahead and booked Dec 7-9 and we decided to skip the 5th all together. So do I have a chance or am I going to be out of luck since it is the New Fantasyland opening.

i never say never with waitlist wishes bc ours have generally come through. this is a popular week though with pop warner and that night with MVMCP. pixie dust your waitlist comes through

I just canceled a trip yesterday for the beginning of December so someone waiting on SV studios at BLT and BWV were made happy...

So, you never know...keep checking the website as well....

If it was available last night, you should be near the top of the waitlist.

I agree with Debbie, you should be near the top of the waitlist, if the 6th became unavilable overnight.

The 1st week in December is one of the busiest for DVC, has more to do with the time of year, pre holidays and low points for reservations, etc. than Fantasyland opening in my opinion (kids still in school).

There's still a 1 bedroom avail @ SSR on the 6th, which you could book as a back-up, then move to a studio on the 7th if you needed to have something in order to book your airfare.

I think your chances are great that this will come through.

Since we are now able to book on-line, I am constantly tweaking my early December trip [a day here, a day there] and so far have been very successful with multiple waitlists coming through due to my indecision on where to stay. I'm not convinced this online booking is good for my type of personality.
