I was looking at "Dad's crowd calendar for Dec 2nd - 8th. It is forecasting heavy crowds for the 5th and 6th and moderate crowds all the other days. Is there something special happening the 5th and 6th?
I think he takes takes out either his low crowd/high crowd stamp, gets his calendar, closes his eyes, does "eeny meeny miny mo", and sticks it where ever it lands.

Basically everyone knows about them now and as such they try to plan around low crowd days.
when everyone does this, the park ends up packed.
i planned a trip in early march when the calendar was low before spring break. park was just about as crowded as i've ever seen. over 60 minute wait for jsut about everything.
was there last year for those dates and there was similar crowd calendars they were not close. Yes pop warner was there Have lost total faith in any crowd calendar.

These dates are also in the middle of Pop Warner and Dance and Cheer Championships (12/2 - 12/10 - I only know start and end dates, I haven't researched any further)
Oh no - could someone please explain what this is? - and what effect it will have on the parks that day - I'm right in the middle of planning for that weekend

We have a trip that week as well; from my understanding from the Disney website as well as the boards, this event is "after hours", with the few that happened earlier this year, being 10pm to 1am. So it shouldn't affect planning since the park would be closed anyways, at least that's what it seems like (and what we are hoping!).
