Thanks, Jenn, for adding us on the list. Much appreciated. I will be handing out gifts to each cabin. Our 7 year old daughter Alexis will be happy to get anything from anyone. She isn't picky.

Sorry, I went through a panic mode earlier. We are staying with the group. I do need an updated list. What I am making for the cabin gift takes some time to do. I have to have so many before I can put them through the final stage.

Everyone is being so kind! Thanks for understanding about budgeting constraints, etc. We'll be handing out to every cabin on the new list, just hopefully expectations aren't too high! I know my children are going to be thrilled to just get on the boat. FE's are a little extra something special. Anything that someone takes the time and effort to deliver to our cabin door is going to be extremely appreciated. Thanks for making our new year super exciting! I can't wait!

We are so excited too, sylviarj! I agree with you. The FE gift exchange was definitely one of the highlights of our 1st Disney Cruise 2 years ago (this will be our 2nd one). That is why I wanted to do it again. The look on our daughter's face when she received her gifts in our fish extender mailbox was priceless . She also had a great time "delivering" our gifts as well. Can't wait to do it again. And yes, anything and everything will be greatly appreciated.

In the midst of planning and making FE gifts. So much fun...and it makes me more excited for the cruise!

On a side note, what excursions/ ship activities have you all signed up for?

Also, which part of the country are you all from? (We are from San Diego, California!)

Ok hopefully I do this right. If you don't know what a FE or fish extender is, it is basically a decorated pocket organizer you hang from a fish clip that is next to your cabin door. Gifts and surprises can be left from other fellow cruisers. For everyone who wants to join in the gift exchange you can either post some basic info to this thread or message me if you do not feel comfortable posting your info.

1. First name and age of each cabin member

2. Stateroom #

3. Any food allergies.

4. Disboard user name or email address for so I can send you a list of the members info in your exchange group.

Optional Info for more personalized gifts

1. Favorite characters

2. For Adults, don't mind receiving alcoholic gift or would rather not receive alcoholic gift.

3. Any celebrations such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc.

***We will be adding cabins to the list up until September 1, 2015 so it gives everyone plenty of time to put their gifts together. I will leave it up to you if you wish to give individuals gifts for each cabin member or if you would like to give a single gift for the whole cabin. I will divide up all cabins who join into groups then send all info to everyone.

***If anyone wants to join our FE Exchange after September 1, 2015 please send me a message with your info so I can see what I can do about putting some extra gifts together.

We are 4 - mom, dad, daughter (13) and daughter (10). Both girls love Disney - especially classic Mickey/Minnie, princesses, etc.

We are in room 1068.

Hi Melissa (Schmid)!

The only way to contact people directly is by "starting a conversation" with that member (and the only way to do that is to have done 10 posts first...this is according to the DISBoards' rule...I see that you only did 3 posts so far; there is another page that allows you just to post randomly just to reach that magic 10 number so they can start conversing directly with members).

This FE group closed in September, but Jenn allowed me and a few other cabins (who are late comers) to be added to the list but we were told that some participants may or may not give us gifts (since they already budgeted for a certain number already or didn't see the updated list).

Welcome and I hope you hear from Jenn soon. (She is no longer going on this cruise but she is still organizing this for everyone!)

Put your cabin number on here and maybe some will pixie dust. You will need something to hang outside your door to put it in. There is a thread about pixie dusting you can search for and read.
