Lifelong Dreamer Some how dieting for disney doesn't make dieting seem so bad. godd luck with reaching your goal, you can do it!!!
I will indulge a little at disney, we have set some guidelines, aside from trying a dole whip and the free hot chocolate i will only drink water, no soda, not even diet. It's do able!

ILMICKEY There will be no regrets, i have decided though not to buy myself the refillable mug, too tempting to drown myself in slushies, Reese plans to live on slushies. The more the kid eats the more she loses weight, gee wish i had that problem. I will try every dessert put in front of me and if I leave a little on the plate then I won't feel guilty either.
That heavy advice you gave me was solid!

roxannensteve Silk screening is a lonely job, I have lots of time to think.

xoprincessmomxo Yup, bus butt crunches, not to be confused with car butt crunches or bed time butt crunches, it's totally different cause you have to concentrate harder on not leting people know what you are doing.

If U Had Wings Thanks for coming over to read. I hope you stick around, we are a fun happy bunch here. We encourage silliness!

LurrrvtheDuck I guess it's ok to be in the christmas aisle now, I visited there today and picked up something for our room at Disney.
Thank you for the castle picture, oh my gosh, it is even more beautiful then i had imagined, I know I am going to cry when i see it in person. I am debating if i should send it to Theresa and Coley or just let them be surprised. What do you think?

Please please please tell me these lights aren't just for the parties. I will be so bummed.

I went and did me some shopping, picked up a few more things for the trip. According to the farmers almanac it is supposed to rain off and on the first 4 days we are there, so I got a poncho. I hate ponchos, but I hate carrying umberellas even more, I like to be hands free.
I also got a few things to decorate our window at Pop.

I am at 31 days, very close. All of my thoughts turn into links to Disney, I can't have a conversation about anything without somehow bringing Disney into it. Sleep is getting a little restless for me, it takes a while to dose off. Theresa is really getting excited for th trip, we talk at least an hour a day about just Disney. Reese is still showing no signs of major excitement, that will come within a week of our trip.

I can remember talking about Disney this past summer and when people would ask when are you going and i'd say 6 months I would get wierd looks from them, but now when I say, next month, I don't get the strange looks anymore. go figure!

Reese and i started on a 1,000 piece Disney puzzle of Cinderellas castle this past Friday (no school) it took 4 hours just to complete the border, after 7 hours we were getting delirious and yelling "We can't go to Disney until the puzzle is finished." Kent has helped out, he finds 7 pieces and thinks he is a puzzle genius. That sucker is hard, but we refuse to quit, I gave us until Thanksgiving to get it done. Yea, that long, cause it's that hard!

Theresa and I went to the Gardengrocer website to check it out, we are going to order 4 of the 24 packs of water. If we have any left over we'll just give it to a neighbor, I doubt we will have any left cause we are beasts when it comes to bottled water!!!

I totally know how you feel Ty! People are always giving me strange looks when I talk about my Disney trips.

Farmer's Almanac- Cleaver

Tell me, what did you buy to decorate your window with?

I was just fixing on going check out garden grocer too.;)

Hey, can you look up my trip dates in your farmer's almanac? If you remember, we'll be there from 12/18 - 1/1. I'd love to know what the weather might be like.

The puzzle is an awesome idea! It lets you do something Disney related and it looks like it might take you almost the whole time you have left! :lmao:

Today it's 30 days for you! How can you stand it? You know I'm going nuts with the wait and I still have 44 more days. I can't believe Reese can stay so calm right now, but you're right, she will probably be bouncing off the walls with you when the timeframe is closer.

I always get weird looks about my Disney talking obsession. I always get told, "We thought you must go all the time, to listen to you," and I go, "Nope. About every other year, but I'm definitely obsessed!" :woohoo: I actually was introduced to a lady at my church today who gets to go at least twice a year! She dreams of working at WDW when she retires. Don't we all? :cloud9:

So Ty I am totally with you on the weird LOOKS... I just made ADR for the Hoop-DEE-Doo Review and I was totally shocked because I called a month ago and all there was, was a 9:30 and with the Little ones we couldn't do it! even thought I totally plan on having them out all hours of the night!!! WHAT A BAD MOMMY I AM!!! But I called and tried tonight and I got a tier 1 @ 5:30... I was sooo excited that I called the girls up in the office and told them and the were like GREAT! The have been rolling:sad2: their eye at me since MAY when I talk about Disney which is about 6 hours out of the 8 that I am here!!! Unfortunatly I am going to keep this a secret from the Rest of my crew and Give it to them as a Xmas gift, we will be eating there the day after xmas. Since this is a secret I can't post it on my pre-trippie due to DD13 reads it so does DM. I right now I just want to SCREAM FROM THE ROOF TOPS ...   So I am screaming it here on your thread...LOL
I am getting Very excited and I just want to pack too. The suitcases are sitting in the living room just begging to be packed and I still have 48 days left... My boys 7 & 5 have a count down on the calander and everyday they have to check it!!!:woohoo: I know that you look for some Disney things and I thought of everyone here the other day I bought 2 POC stockings and a Tinkerbell stocking at WalMart. Not Cheap (11.00) but since we are there for xmas:santa: I figured why not! I too have bought poncho's we have four we still need two more. i am buying Disney cros for the Kids and Like I had talked about before the matching polar fleece jackets... The time isnt going by fast enough for me right now.

Thanks for letting me show my excitement here on your thread!!!!:thumbsup2

Lifelong Dreamer I used to think I was the strange one for talking about Disney a year before the actual trip, but I soon realized it's just everyone else who is on the strange side. How can you not be excited for Disney?

roxannensteve I bought lights and window clings, I am thinking of making a Mickey wreath if time allows. I will add to it, I am just not sure what I want to do yet.

njdisneyfreak ok, here is the deal with the farmers almanac, I didn't buy it, I just looked up my dates in it while i was at the store, but next time i am back there I will look up your dates. I am doing back flips in my mind over 30 days left (I would do them for real but I could injure myself and that would interfere with my trip)
The puzzle is coming along alot faster then I thought it would, it's so addictive, I plan tog et another one when this one is finished, I would love to be able to find a Christmas themed Disney puzzle.
I would love to work at WDW when I retire, but Kent plans to move us to the mountains. I tell him we could do the whole long distance relationship thing.

DISNEY4XMAS You are always welcome to shout out your excitement over here, come and shout everyday, we all will shout with you. I want to pack too, gosh it's so hard not to, I have my suitcase laying on the floor in my room, it's empty! except for my dogs who nap in it.

I started at Raptors last night. Kicked my butt, I am used to 2 hours of practice at a time, yesterday was 6 hours, that will be my schedule for Sundays and then on Wednesdays I will be at Raptors from 4-9pm. Red Lion will be Mon, Tues, and Thursdays, and Reese has gymnastics on saturdays, so basically fridays will be my day off. I am not complaining, because with a schedule like that, time will only go faster. I am at 29 days!! Reese got hit today with the excitement bug, she is now saying she can't wait to go. I have waited for those words to come out of her mouth.

I have to really get busy on my Disney purchases. I don't know if there are others out there that have to do this, but I always have to have new socks and precious delicates (undies) for a trip. I always buy new ones, it's a necessity. I also have to get things like vhsc tapes for the camcorder, extra rechargable batteries, discs to upload my pics on daily so that I can start every day with a fresh clean memory card, I can only get roughly 525 pictures on one card, but Reese can get 450, so together we should get enough pictures. I also like to get new make up for my trips, I am debating that. I have also decided not to go tanning before the trip, or get my hair and nails done, you will have to just suffer seeing pictures of plain Jane Ty. It's too close to Christmas to go spending extra money like that. I have wrestled with the decision for a long time and finalized it today.

I went and looked at a crowd level calendar today, it only showed the first few days of my trip cause I need to subscribe to get the rest, but... I might do some switching around because I already have two days of parks planned where they said to try and avoid that park on that day. SO I will keep my Adr's the same but do some major park hopping instead, I need time to think it all through. I mean I want to be able to get the most out of my days there and if switching parks even saves me waiting by 15 minutes in each line that will be helpful.
I also looked up the typical weather patterns for the month of December, I don't think I will need to pack as many shorts as I thought. Which is good because I won't be tan, and I only like to wear shorts when I have a tan.

Good plan to skip getting your hair done. My hair was freshly done for my trip and it looked like garbage anyways cuz of the humidity!

You are getting SO close! How exciting!

Happy to hear that Reese is getting excited about the trip.

I ask my brothers how they can not be excited about going back to Disney and their response is "Uh Lessa, we are not going back until 2010, why would we be excited?" Weirdos, that is only 2 1/2 years away! How can they not be excited?:confused3

I am not complaining, because with a schedule like that, time will only go faster.

This is so true. I have been working 10 hour days, 6 on Saturday and working on my crafts every other second. Time is flying now baybee!!
I don't know if there are others out there that have to do this, but I always have to have new socks and precious delicates (undies) for a trip.

Heck yes! What if you pass out, they need to remove your clothes and see old yeller bras and panties?? Can't happen!

I have also decided not to go tanning before the trip, .
Use that lotion with the tanning cream in it. I bought the Walmart brand and it really works. No streaks. I do tan too, but only 1 or 2 times a week. Just to keep the "dead" look away.

I went and looked at a crowd level calendar today, it only showed the first few days of my trip cause I need to subscribe to get the rest,

Just give it another week. It will show your whole week. You won't have to subscribe. Are you 4's and 5's??

The temps for the next few days are in the 70's!!:woohoo: Perfect! We wore sweatshirts and jeans when we were there in December. A couple days were t-shirt weather. It was so nice to be there and be comfortable, not looking for a place to cool off every 10 minutes. You can really just enjoy the parks.

If you do find a Christmas themed Disney puzzle, please tell us from where! I would LOVE that!!! :yay: I am with you on doing the back flips in my mind. I know I would injure myself if I did those for real! :lmao: Hmmm. . .long distance relationship so you could work at WDW. . .Hey, I think it's a fair trade-off! ;)

I'm so glad that Reese is beginning to feel the excitement!!! Did you feel like saying, "Girl, it's about time!" If you don't spend money on nails and hair, that just leaves more to spend at WDW, right? So what if we have to see natural looking Ty? The smile on your face is sure to make up for it! I'm sure you will go with the flow with the crowd levels. Flexibility is always key, and you know how much I plan everything out. But, going with the flow is always a part of a great vacation. I am the same way about shorts and I don't plan on bringing any. I may bring some capris, so you won't see too much untanned skin.

28 days now for you! Only 4 weeks. How are you standing it?!

Oh My goodness!!! Your trip's almost here!!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Re: strange looks about Disney talk: Yeah all my co-workers and family are tired of my Disney talking. It's been a year of Disney all the time and they roll their eyes at me and say "You're going again?!" Or "You need to move there." Believe me I would if I could! I think they're just jealous and I'm sticking with that theory.

So pictures of your purchases!?!?! popcorn::

I thought you all would be interested in this, it seems to me that the castle lights will be on every night and not just for the parties since this stage show occurs before the party even gets started.

Starting on November 12, the "Cinderella's Holiday Wish Stage Show" will take place in front of the castle at 5:45. Immediately following this performance, the 'Castle Dream Lights' will be lit featuring over 200,000 twinkling lights draped on the towers and turrets.

There you go ILMICKEY, you will be seeing the castle lights before any of us. You lucky dog!

Thanks for posting that information Lessa.

SwansLoveDisney I forgot that Florida keeps it's humidity year round. Oh well, I rock the messy bun like no other!

Lifelong Dreamer Boys lie about not being excited cause they are afraid of not looking cool, I bet they dram Disney every night and have a secret Disney countdown going on right now.

ILMICKEY Wow, you leave in 12 days. The day you leave I will be down to 13 days. check out my math skills, impressive huh? We are just burning through the days. Keeping busy that's the key.

njdisneyfreak The trip is so close it seems unreal, I am at the stage right now where I keep saying, "I can't believe I am going to Disney." I hate that feeling in my guts like they are twisting from excitement.
I will definitely let you know if I find a Christmas themed Disney puzzle.

LurrrtheDuck Oh yeah, it is definitely jealousy, and it's no theory, just the truth, the people who give you funny looks are the ones who secretly wish it was them going to Disney.

You only have 24 days left, which is practically 3 weeks!!! :cool1: I can't wait till you go on your trip, so I can live vicariously through you, at least until I go on my trip. :goodvibes Just think. . .24 days till you see the Mouse!!! :yay: :woohoo: :yay: You'll have to get tons of pics with him to make up for the last time.
