Dec 11-14 ? Express recommended?

Wondering what the expected crowd level is for December 11-14. What do you guys and gals think? Need Express or not, and why.

I've been wondering the same thing. TouringPlans forecasts the crowds on the weekdays being minimal, and the weekend ones only being so-so, but I have seen higher forecasts elsewhere.

Will you be in the park all 4 days? If yes, I don't think EP is necessary. The park shouldn't be too crowded just yet, and 4 days is plenty to experience everything, especially if you get there at park open.

With that many days at that time of year, I'd skip them.

I'd say no, especially if you plan on going all those days, or at least most of them. It's not considered peak holiday season yet during those days.

My trip dates are 12/12-12/15. We had planned on doing IoA on the arrival day and then USH on Saturday. We were originally supposed to be at the Other Guys all week, but I had an unexpected work trip pop up in the middle, so we decided to do this instead. But I had already paid for a hard-ticket event with the Other Guys, so we thought we'd do one day there too.

We've had an on-property Universal stay before, around the same time, and basically everything was walk-on. But this was pre-Hagrid, so I don't know how that's going to affect things, especially with the hours being what they are.

I don't think it is still worth the money. Last time I had the EP was as only the guests at the three deluxe resorts got them and I have seen its worth. I'm here now at a slower time and staying at HRH, but never waited this long for any FP or EP line before. A few examples: Posted wait time for King Kong were 45mins, I left the EP line after 30mins without being near the loading area. Hulk posted wait 20mins, I waited 15mins with EP. Fast and the Furious posted wait 10mins, waited 35mins. So I think I was better of with my touring plans and no EP at my last visits than now without a plan but with EP.
