LOL that was a pretty funny story! I did the same thing with my daughter. We went to HD to get all different colors of the chips to make our countdown. I felt like I was constantly looking over my shoulder!! We also held a conversation about how we would be able to use each color!! HAHA i left with over 100!!!!!!!!

I know the PC's are there for our taking, but I always feel like I'm doing something wrong when I take so many. My DD wanted lot''s of colors too for craft project she was doing. I made a small countdown with the left overs. LGMH hiests are fun though.

Hi Ty, I JUST started reading your PTR, so it will take me a few days (ahem, weeks!) to get current. I got interested b/c you're going w/ a group of women and my upcoming trip is girls only, so we have something in common.

Anyway, so glad you found Marzi again (also just wondering, how do you pronounce her name?) & that you guys are all going to Disney - it sounds like a blast!

Welcome aboard, take your time catching up I'm not going any where any time soon.

Yup, girls only this time, it'll be fun, we can be ourselves.

Marzi's real name is pronounced "Mar ee" I wanted to name my DD after her but the ex wouldn't let me, so I named her Mareesa instead, it's kind of derived form Maurie, but now we all just call her Reese. And Maurie got stuck with Marzi. She refers to herself as Marzi too so I guess she doesn't hate it too much

Love the fart song!!! My hubby keeps giving me wierd looks because I keep laughing. He just doesn't get it! Now when I go to the beauty and the beast show at HS I'll be thinking about the fart song instead of the real one. I too have done the great LGMH heist but I didn't have to make a break for it. Thank goodness! great disguises btw.

I can't even remember the real worlds to Beauty and the Beast anymore, it's always the Fart song now. I can even sing it without laughing now.

Glad you haven't been apprehended by the HDSP. Disguises are a must for me. I have a reputation to protect ya know.

Reese just tol dme today that she lost her cell phone. I was calm.

Me: Did you check with the office to see if anyone turned it in?

Reese: Yea, no phone.

Me: When did you last have it?

Reese: English class.

Me: Ok so someone could still turnit in, maybe the teacher has it.

Reese: English class....last Friday.

Me: Last Friday? Reese, someone could be talking to China right now as we speak.

Reese: The battery was dead.

Me:That helps.

So any way, I had to call and get her number temporarily suspendid, the only way to get it reinstated is to get her a new phone. (I'm kicking myself for not getting it insured) So the plan is, I will get the new phone and she will get my old one. She hates that plan but hey, why should she be rewarded with a new phone. Right?

I like the idea of a new phone for me, but I hate to spend the money. I will get a discount because I am halfway through with this plan, I'm not due for a free upgrade yet. This will suck some of my hard earned disney funds out of savings, but it's still cheaper then canceling her plan.

See? This all goes back to idiot strings, the girl needs some.

I have never had that worry. But I can't tell you how many times I have had to help my son find his retainer. How do you lose a retainer?

Reese found her phone today, it was in a girls bag, Reese thinks somebody was trying to play a joke. Oh well, at least I don't have to buy a new phone and my DIsney dollars can stay safe in the bank now.

Sorry the print is so small today, for some reason it's not letting me change it, it won't let me use smileys and it hasn't let me change the color of my font in months, oh well.

Anyway. Time is going by so slow. For my last trip I had so much going on, My own silkscreening business and coaching 2 cheerleading squads, the time flew, now all I'm doing is NOTHING! I can't wait to get back to work. I thought about calling the DR. and asking him if he could send me back to work but with restrictions. Kent said that was a bad idea and to wait until my leg is healed completely.

At first I welcomed the time off, after 2 weeks I was antsy, but it has been 6 weeks and I am totally and utterly bored. 3 more weeks till my next appt. I'm sure the DR. will send me back to work then.

The joke at work is that Disney people are drawn to me, I am like a magnet, they somehow know I love Disney and we always end up talking parks, resorts and ADR's.

I call work every now and then, just to see if everybody misses me. They do.
I work with such great people.


Tomorrow night my kids have a show, they are playing the ballroom at RLH. Up until last spring my kids were in a band together, they were cutting a demo and then things just fell apart. My daughter ended up jioning another band, and my son started his own band with the drummer from the last band. Now Reese has quit her other band (she said they goofed around too much and were going to get in the way of her becoming famous) now she is a solo act.
She is opening up for Fractures in Fear tomorrow (another local band) and my sons band "Prime Directive" is headlining.

I am super excited for this. I haven't seen either kid perform at a show since Spring. Reese is nervous to play guitar tomorrow, she said she might play for one song, but Jim is going to be playing for her for the rest of her songs. I think she is doing 1 cover song by Nirvana "Heart shaped Box" and then 4 songs she wrote.

I can't sleep I am so excited.

OK back to Disney.

I have heard from nice people all over the boards not to panic about Dec 5th and taping at MK, I am going to take their advice and just chillax. I will get to the park early and immediatley go to the back of the park. My goal is to ride Winnie the pooh, Peter Pan, Snow White, and then see Mickeys Philharmagic. then head over to Haunted Mansion, then head back to Adventure land and hopefully have time to do POC and the Jungle cruise before our 11:30 am ADR at Crystal Palace. If it looks like we will be cutting it close then we might save the Haunted Mansion for our next MK day.
After lunch we'll take the monorail over to Epcot and try and do half of world showcase, Possibly start in Canada and go counter clockwise, once we hit the half way point take the boat back. Oh and on our way out ride Spaceship earth. Mom is excited for SPaceship earth, one of her friends sons helped in the construction, I don't know if that's why she is excited to ride it, I just know she said she wants that and soarin really bad.

Question: Dec 7th I have a 9:30am ADR at Akershus, do you think if I get there at rope drop I will have time to run to soarin for fastpasses and still make it to Norway on time? I was thinking on having Mom and Janis run ahead and check us in at our ADR's while Marzi and I secure the fast passes. Again will there be time?
I know they won't seat us until everyone in the party is present, but at least we won't be considered a no show if I'm late.

What do ya'll think?

That actually sounds like an easy day, hopefully it will be an easy day.

Yup, at least 1 of you are going to have to go for Soarin' FPs, while the others check-in. Typically, character meals do run a little late, but you have an early ADR, so it should be right on time. And, you do have 30 minutes to get there from the front of the park, go to Soarin' FPs and then head to Norway.

I would get myself involved in crazy little projects, I finally put our Oct 2006 Disney trip pictures into a scrap book, I painted a few rooms, I obsessed as much as I possibly could over our upcoming Disney trip. Hang in there, at least the end is in sight. And continue posting, you are a favorite and bring me almost to tears!! In a good way!!

I plan to make tags with the LGMH's for our luggage and our park bags, although I am currently the only one who is dis'ing.

I should finish my Disney scrapbook from 2007, I just can't seem to get over this creative block I'm having, I sit and stare at the pictures and nothing comes to me, then I end up just day dreaming about my upcoming trip.

The show last night was awesome!!
Reese sang her little heart out, she laid it all out.
Jim's band (changing the name again so I have no idea what to call them) did great.
I had been to shows at RLH before but never the ballroom. It's upstairs (a gazillion stairs) it was way bigger, more stage room, more seating (not that anybody sits) the only thing is the sound quality is not as good.

Reese opened up the show, and like I said she did an awesome job. Jim played all her songs for her except for one. I didn't take pictures o fher playing guitar because she was nervous enough as it was, but I did get some of her singing.
When Reese sings she puts so much emotion into it, some of her songs make me cry.

Then Jim's band went on, originally they were going to headline, but they gave it to FiF, Jim and the band were ready instrumentally, but vocally they needed more work, so they didn't want to end the show, and chose to be middle man. They still rocked it though.

Then Reese got up and sang a song with Jim's band. That was a surprise to me, I guess they decided that last minute.

This is Jim and me before the show, I tried to get him to take a normal picture, but I guess it was too much to ask. I never got one Of Reese and I, she was too busy being the social butterfly that she is.

After the show I found out that our house was the location of the after party. Kids brought tents to set up. I went to bed at 3:35am and when I woke up at 9:30am this morning some of them were still awake. Most of them have gone home now, only 2 hanging around, Their Reese's friends. But I WANT MY HOUSE BACK!


Anyway, thanks for letting me share, I know this was not Disney related. Reese did tell me though, that once she is rich and famous she will send me to Disney when ever I want for as long as I want.

So let's all bow our heads and pray. Dear God, Please make Reese and Jim famous, I want The Wilderness lodge for no less than 2 weeks. AMEN!

I found a place online with all kinds of Disney games, word searches, puzzles, memory. That is what I am doing to pass the time, (because it's dragging) My DH thinks I'm a dork. "Why are you playing kiddie games?" I guess he forgot that every now and then I get out the game of Disney memory and he plays it with me. I didn't remind him of it because I'm afraid he'll quit playing it with me. Also I love to play Disney's scene it. I am the master of that game.

I called mom today to tell her that we leave in 81days.She said she tries not to think about it for fear it will make the time go slower, so instead she is just going with the flow of life. HELLO? The flow of life is DISNEY! She's a newbie though folks, she's never been so we can't really blame her for not ripping her hair out with anticipation now can we? This is mom's level of excitementand this is my level of excitement of course we all know that mom's excitement level once she has been to the world and back will be more like this All I can do is wait and then once she has seen the castle I can say "I told you so"

Marzi is the same way, she won't let herself think about it, she said she won't get anything done. She just got a huge promotion at work, now it's even harder to get a hold of her. She's working all the time, she needs a vacation, may i suggest DISNEY
I'm not sure how Janis is passing the time. probably quilting, taking care of her dogs and her hubby. I sent her the link to this, so maybe some casual reading.
Me? I have Disney on my mind even when I don't have a trip in the works, those are times when I am trying to figure out how I am going to get back to WDW.

I never knew. Never ever did I know. Not even as a child did I ever think that I would love Disney so much. I had always wanted to go. I asked my parents all the time if we could go. I never got that chance until 2006. That's a lot of years of not knowing. I think back to when my kids were little and I wanted to take them, I wish I would have looked into it, I just always assumed it would cost too much so why bother. Now I could kick myself, I could have easily run up my credit card on a trip to WDW, instead I ran it up on useless junk that is probably still collecting dust in my attic. Can't run up the cards now. But then again it's nice to be able to pay for a trip up front and be done with it.
I am rambling, just millions of thoughts running through my head. All Disney thoughts. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I just read that Disney World is planning to expand and do a major face lift. Fantasyland is going to double in size and have a new little mermaid ride. They said this should all be completed by 2013. I guess I need to plan another trip so I can see it all done.
