Debut Tamer Mission Space 5/19/06!!!

I just read THIS article saying that the debut of the 'new' tamer MS is debuting today!!!

Hoping someone local or there now can report back and tell us what the new version is like AND what the lines were like!!

You beat me to it!

It's much easier to do it that way and in doing it that way, others who are already subscribed to and following the thread don't have to keep getting email notifications of a new post only to find out it's just someone subscribing.

I'm interested in a ride 'review', but I would also like to hear how to deal with the boarding.

Is there a seperate line for the milder ride, or do you tell them once you get to the front of the line which type of ride you want?

I always said I would never ride this ride, but with the milder version, I may just give it a try when we go down in a couple of weeks.

I was so excited to hear of the non-spinning version as anything that goes in circles (even a carousel, lol) makes me sooo sick - ironically, I can ride just about any roller coaster out there, though. I'd love to know how the new ride feels. However, DS 8 has been completely traumatized by the reports of deaths on the original and, despite all our arguments (the people had preexisting conditions; the new version eliminates that risk, etc), absolutely refuses to even consider riding, so I'll probably have to wait until my next solo trip to try it. Can't wait to read the first report of it, though!

This will be our fifth trip to Disney and we have never ridden MS. We were afraid it would make us all sick. Can't wait to hear from someone who has been on the new version. We definately want to try it in June!

I will be going to Epcot this afternoon so I can report back tonight. Although I'll only be able to report on the line situation as I'll still be riding the spinning version. I'm interested to see how this will effect wait times for everyone.

Aww.. come on! Ride both ways and tell us! Maybe she will if the lines aren't long.

Anyhow, if no one ventures on it before we go in 9 short days, well then I'll report back how it is. For the record, I've been on it once the original way, but I was not too crazy about it. Once was enough.
