We have reservations for our WDW trip, 3/23 - 3/30 with a waterview room at the Dolphin. One of the main reasons for our trip was my husband's daughters were competing at cheer Nationals during that time. My husband, myself and my 2 kids were going down to support my stepdaughters, as well as take my kids to WDW. Now come to find out the girls aren't going, UGH!!!

So here's the dilema... I still want to go!! I was willing to take my kids out of school for a week when we had specific dates we needed to be there. But now that we don't I'm wondering if it would be better to wait until Easter break (sometime between 4/3 - 4/13) and not have them lose any school time. With the original dates they would have missed 6 days of school, gone back for 3 days, then had 7 days off for Easter break.

Is there much of a crowd difference between those 2 weeks?
Thanks!

Welcome to the Dis Sweetpea. The closer you are to holiday weekends at WDW, the busier it is. This isn't always popular, but check with the childrens teachers and see what they would be willing to do to minimize the damage of missing a week of classes.
We took our twin DD's out of class approximately every other year throughout their 12 years of public school. Usually the teachers were so excited that someone was getting a cool trip they were more than cooperative.
