Yes and I'm surprized I opened this one. Maybe that word "debate" is what caught my interest.

I like subject lines that are to the point. Plus, I can't stand OP's that may complain that their question didn't get answered or was ignored when they start a thread with (for example) "Looking for help". Help with WHAT: your trip, your MIL, a recipe, your kids, a life problem, your car or house?

On the CB I ALMOST understand it but on the trip planning boards....

I've seen threads like this on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board: "Hotel Question?"

WHICH HOTEL???? There are over 300 in Orlando!!!!

If they would've written "Barcelo Radisson information" or "Marriott Airport Hotel" MAYBE just MAYBE 200 people who NEVER visited those hotels would be spared the time to read it... man....

Doesn't bother me when the DIS is moving fast, but when the DIS is moving slow it can be annoying to wait for a thread to open then find out it's not what you thought it was going to be.

Yes, that is ABSOLUTELY my biggest DIS pet-peeve! I don't even click on threads that do that. I only clicked on this one because it started with "Debate.....".
When I start a thread, I write as much as possible in my title (in fact, I usually have to figure out ways to shorten it), that way, people don't waste their time.
