Dear Disney Diary...NEW ENTRY!! 7/5/07, p.3

Once you see your kitty's cute face, it is very easy to forget about all the shredding he did today..:goodvibes

I love the night before, too....I love checking off my list when things are packed or on my to do list, the night before.....

I also love in the morning...packing those last minute items...put on your makeup and then you can put it in your bag.....as you know the next time you will be using it, you will be in Sunny FL!!:cool1:

Yes I can not get mad at her cute little face!

Morning of is always so hectic for me! Especially since I feel like I need to leave everything 'perfect'. I dunno why I feel that way especially since no one will be seeing my apt while I am gone...it's the woman in me.:rotfl:

My Minnie like to climb on top of the refrigerator and stretch her paw in front of it and knock the magnets off... there is one magnet that looks like a clown and she thinks it's her friend or something. And today, she knocked over a plant on the windowsill. I was pretty mad at her today but all i have to do is look at that face and all is forgiven...untl she does something tommorow!!!:lmao:

Anyway, I still have over 10 months until my trip.:sad1:

Living vicariously through you for now!:lmao:

My Minnie thinks everything in our apt that isn't nailed down to the floor is her friend! It's funny how cats think isn't it?

10 months will go by in a flash, trust me!

Glad you are liking the pre-trip report! I will keep em coming! :surfweb:

Dear Disney Diary,

I haven't written in a few days. I am sorry. Thursday was my last day of my second job. Oh, I realized Disney Diary I didn't tell you what that was. Well I was working one-on-one tutoring a little boy with autism 2 days a week. The extra money was very helpful and the experience is good for my schooling, becoming a teacher. Since the school year is over, so am I. I am actually not sure if I will be back next year. With my full time job and school, I don't know if I will be able to work with him. In any event, I now have PLENTY of time to plan for the upcoming trip! Its right around 40 days now, and I do not feel prepared at all! I still need to change my ressie for the last night (I think we will do an early dinner at Spoodles before the P&PP). I also still need some shorts and tanks. I saw a cute Tinkerbelle tank in the Kohl's circular today for $10.99...I may have to take a ride over there on lunch tomorrow to check it out. I will also probably take a lunch trip to Old Navy for some shorts. They seem to have the best deals there and the shorts are not too short (seriously Disney Diary have you seen some of the shorts they make these days??? At 28 years old I do not think I need to be wearing such short shorts..) I also need to figure out if I am going to purchase new luggage for us. We have some random pieces from when I was in college and from when DBF was living with the rents. I saw an 8 piece set advertised in Target's circular for $58. That is pretty inexpensive but I am debating saving the money and buying it when we have more room. Our apt is bursting at the seems right now...

Disney Diary, I wanted to show you my itinerary, but I am still working out some of the details. I am going to finish that up and show that to you soon. Now that I have some more free time I will be getting on that very quickly! I can't believe the trip is right around the corner, and I think these 40 days are going to go by really fast! We have so many events every weekend in July that I know it will go by quickly!

Until tomorrow Disney Diary..

Sincerely,

Erica

HAHA, I know! Funny story about that. I have a 17 year old sister and last year she spent the weekend with me and DBF. We took her to the mall to go shopping, and me and her went into Abercrombie while DBF had to run an errand. My sister was holding up a pair of really short shorts when DBF walks in and says 'what are those underwear?'. To this day I make fun of him saying that was his first true 'old man comment'..

Dear Disney Diary,

Disney Diary I am so excited!! :yay: I just noticed I got tagged by the tag fairy!! I never thought that little old me would get noticed by a grand fairy such as the tag fairy...but it happened!

Well, Disney Diary I have to say I have been pretty busy preparing for my trip. I bought two really neat tanks at Kohls. I got the Tinkerbell tank that I saw in the catalogue, however they only had larges. I bought it anyway and tried it on and it fit, just a little long. Here is a pic of the tank:

I also got a really cute tank that says 'First Mate' on it for the P&PP. Here is a pic of that:

They were only $10.88 each, which was really cool! I still need a few more tanks, but I think I will get some plain ones.

So Disney Diary, there it is. I may make a few minor changes and I still have to call and get the ADR for Spoodles (I haven't had a moment to do so yet but am hoping to tomorrow). It will be bitter sweet ending our trip with P&PP. On one hand it will be an awesome last night in the world, but on the other it will be sad knowing we will be leaving the next day...

So Disney Diary I hope you like my itinerary! Until next time.

Sincerely,

Erica

Oh, where are you staying?? I see your countdown ticker says 29 days, mine is still over a month...

Yes, we ate at Earl 2 years ago and thought it was one of the best CS restaurants on property :thumbsup2

Oh, where are you staying??

I rented points and we are staying at Boardwalk Villas. Aviva loves Epcot so hought this location would be great for her.

We stayed at the Dolphin last year. It is an excellent location, because not only can you walk to Epcot but you have all of the other resort choices there and boat (or walkway) to MGM. It feels like one giant resort (with the Beach/Yacht Club, Boardwalk, and Swan/Dolphin combined) :) Aviva will love the proximity to Epcot! You may be spending all of your time there...;)

July 5, 2007

Dear Disney Diary,

OK Disney Diary, today when I went on the DIS Boards, my ticker countdown said 29 days. 29 DAYS!! It is almost here

Yesterday was not very eventfull, as I had been having a very stressful week at work and wanted to 'lay low'. Of course DBF & I were invited to a few BBQ's, but we decided to take a ride around and have a quiet day. I wanted to check out this new 'Adventure Park' in Bayville, Long Island. They have a Pirates themes mini-golf course and you bet if it has a Pirates theme, I am there. Well I didn't have directions and thought I could just 'wing it'. Hmm..didn't happen and I ended up getting me and DBF lost in a place we really didn't want to get lost in...if you know what I am talking about :scared1:

After that we decided to get pizza and come back to the apt and relax. We were planning on watching the Macy's Fireworks that were being broadcast on t.v. but there were fireworks we could see from our window (benefits of living on the 4th floor of an apt building) and then DBF thought it would be funny to put on the music to Wishes. That turned into me and DBF sitting in front of the computer watching Wishes on YouTube and then watching Fantasmic. Then, we got really silly and started watching OTHER people's vacations to WDW that they put up on YouTube. This was really funny and actually gave us some good ideas for the upcoming trip. Disney Diary, I highly recommend doing this to get through the last few weeks of waiting. :woohoo:

Well, I wanted to write a quick update. I officially changed my ressies from Grand Floridian Cafe to Spoodles. I am very excited about that! I also changed around a few things on the itinerary. On Aug 5 (first day on property), DBF and I decided to go to Epcot and try to get on TT and Soarin as well as have lunch. We felt that we would probably be 'itching' to get to a park and thought Epcot would be the best park to go to. If the FP's are all taken then we can just stroll around WS. I also changed Aug 7, our 'relaxing' day. We decided that hotel hopping sounded too hectic for a relaxing day, so we decided to lay by the pool in the morning and take the boat to DTD for lunch and shopping. We have the FDP booked at Hollywood & Vine that night and are having an early dinner so this is a perfect light day for us!

So Disney Diary, I am going to go now. DBF will be home from school soon and he promised we get to watch more of other people's vacations on YouTube...this may actually become a problem...hmmm...

Until next time.

Sincerely,

Erica

P.S. in 3 hours and 20 min it will be 28 days!!:yay: :yay:

One July 4th many moons ago, I went to Bayville to watch fireworks with a group of friends.

How exciting 29 days,we are down to 24!!

I wish I would have actually FOUND Bayville. I think I will mapquest next time. I used to go to the beach at Oyster Bay when I was a teenager, they had an arcade and an outdoor seafood place..

Thanks for reading, I think you are my only reader...:confused3
