He started a trilogy, and took a long time between books. Well, I was very surprised to find the third book today! I had given up on it. I didn't think I would ever see the day where I could buy it.

If you stopped waiting like me, and had no idea it came out in August, I'm here to tell you, it's finally arrived.

I need to go back and see if I've read this one....I REALLY want to read "Ride the Storm" which Koontz was supposedly 1/2 way through writing in 2003~
3rd book of the "Moonlight Bay" series (Fear Nothing and Seize the Night):thumbsup2 Love me some Dean Koontz:goodvibes

Really!? I had read the first 2 books and would occasionally check his website to see when the 3rd book would be out. I eventually gave up checking. I too figured it would be one of those unfinished series. Now I have to go dig out my 2 other books and reread them quick.

Where did you find it?

Love Dean Koontz! I've picked up Frankenstein a dozen times and always put it back because I don't know if I'll like it. Is the series really good?

I honestly can't think of a book of his that I haven't thought was at least ok, or interesting...

I read the first book of the series. It was pretty good (enjoyable for a book to read on a plane), but not his best work.

Have you picked up Odd Hours in the Odd Thomas series? That one I couldn't finish. I took it back to the library. It is the first of his books that I couldn't finish, I've enjoyed all the others that I have read by him.

As for this, I've been looking for something to read lately and enjoy his books. I'll be stopping by the library to see if they have it. I can't remember seeing it before.

You won't be disappointed. They only disappointment I felt was I had to wait so long between books. Now that the third book is out, you won't have that problem.

I love Odd! I agree though, Odd Hours was not his best. I did finsih it though. It just wasn't as good as his other Odd books.

His Frankenstein series is good! My brother got me to read it years ago, after insisting. I wasn't too interested, because Frankenstein had already been written. Koontz really makes it is own. The first two books are page turners, I'm not too far into the 3rd rioght now. I am busy trying to recall the 2nd book. It been almost three years!

When I read a series, I usually refresh by rereading the previous ones. I hate when that happens. I couldn't remember the name of that Odd Hours book and went looking on his site, it looks like their are a few others ones to it. Have you read any of those? I won't continue with it if it's as bad as the Odd Hours one. I just couldn't get into it. I like the supernatural storylines he uses but that one was just too far-fetched.
