Deals on Netbooks?

We'd like to get our 12 and 15 year olds netbooks for Christmas instead of getting them a desktop to fight over. Anyone know of any great deals on them?

We got ours at a good deal, but only because we know the staff...it is an MSI btw

We went to Best Buy a few weeks ago and allowed our children to pick theirs out for Christmas.

I know that is awful but this way we know they are getting what they wanted.

DS wound up picking our a laptop verses a netbook. DD picked out a netbook.

They had really good prices. I was happy with the deals we got. I did not care to fight on Black Friday nor did I want to go hunting after Thanksgiving.

I read on slickdeals that target is having a 10 inch netbook for $199 with free sleeve starting tomorrow.

ETA it looks like it is the same one as Amazon

We were just at Best Buy today and the sales guy was just putting out Gateway netbooks that were $229. He said they are like a pre-black friday deal and will be in tomorrow's sales flyer.

Best Buy has Gateway LT2005u 10.1" Netbook for $229.99.
