Deals on airfare?

Hey all. Just wondering which airline offers good deals travelling from Canada (Edmonton, to be specific). 2 of us will be flying in December... I know it's early! Delta has some cheap flights - I've never flown with them, does anyone have any experiences they can share? We usually fly Westjet or Air Canada, but from what it looks like AC would have to do 50% off to match Delta's prices....

Any advice.... deals.... websites... should I wait, what's a good deal... help!

the best prices i have found( and trust me i have done alot of searches) was from expedia

From our searching we've found the earlier you book the better. Our current Delta flights have gone form 238 (CDN) to 380 CDN. We booked in Dec. 06 for August 07.

Try Northwest. If you don't mind flying coach and aren't fussy about travel times, you can usually get a good seat sale in July/August for fall/winter travel. Our last few trips in October we've flown NWA and have gotten seat sales for just over $400/pp Canadian.

We find the fares for WestJet are tempting however their flight schedule is crappy so we chose to fly Northwest.
