deals are up!

Just call back and try again, obviously other CM's are able to do it, she just was somehow uninformed.:confused3
Good Luck, another CM should be able to help!

Can anyone tell me what would happen if your travel dates are Mar 20-29? (Easter rates start on 3/28). Also, how do they adjust for weekends? Which days are "free"? The cheaper weekday rates or the weekend rates?

Any other specifics about this new 4/3? Like if you have to buy tickets for the entire number of nights of your stay? Or if you get any sort of gift card during the peak season dates (like last year)?

Has anyone even posted which dates this deal is good for yet? I understand January, but what about Feb or March?

CM told me that the code was KOW....

You now have to buy ticket for a minimum of 4 or 5 days, depending on if you have the 4/3 or 5/2... No more one day minimum ...

I just called and was told there were no deals for next year. :confused3

She also told me code GNW was only good until Dec 24 :confused3

I am freakin' out! :scared1:

Yup, the GNW code didn't work for me either. But the CM (Tracy):littleangel: who I was speaking with put me on hold for like 10 mins (she had to search for the proper code) but did apply the 4/3 deal to my ressie. Actually, I upgraded to the Poly.......wouldn't have been able to stay there without this promo.:cool1:

4/3 code is PDL. Good luck to all! I switched resorts, as my Bay Lake view room at the Contemporary wasn't available under the deal. Only CL rooms in Contemporary available. This was less than what we were paying before for a non-CL room, but Polynesian came in MUCH cheaper.

OK, just got off the phone with a very professional gentleman called Ferris(?)

Set up a totally new reservation.

I mentioned that I had read about a new 7 nights for the price of 4 offer on 'DISBoards.com'. He confirmed that it existed (did not require a code) and set up the following:

Checking in on 12/11, checking out on 12/18 (7 nights)

Polynesian Garden View, 3 adults (extra $25 a night - those darn 19 year old kids).

7 Day passes with the Hopper Option (only).

Total Price: $2,657.37 (I declined the travel insurance - anyone else notice that the travel insurance costs more than the cancellation charge, no sense in that at all)

So if you don't get the offer the first time, just keep calling - it's available.

deal details are up on mousesavers:

Disney Rewards Visa 7-for-4 or 7-for-5 Package Offer for November 2009 - March 2010
Disney Rewards Visa cardholders can purchase a fantastic buy 4, get 7 or buy 5, get 7 vacation package offer valid for stays November 1 - December 24, 2009 through January 3 - March 27, 2010. (Disney says some dates are blacked out for this offer, but it's possible a few hotels are available during those dates.)

I expect the same offer will be made available to the general public on Thursday, October 1.

Here are the details:

Buy a 4-night/4 day vacation package at a MODERATE, DELUXE or DELUXE VILLA resort, get a 7-night/7-day package. That's 3 FREE hotel nights and 3 extra days on your theme park admission tickets, equivalent to a 43% discount on your room and tickets! You must buy a package that includes at least 4 nights' accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel plus minimum 4-day Magic Your Way Base Tickets to qualify for the 3 FREE nights and the 3 extra days on your tickets.

Buy a 5-night/5 day vacation package at a VALUE resort, get a 7-night/7-day package. That's 2 FREE hotel nights and 2 extra days on your theme park admission tickets, equivalent to a 29% discount on your room and tickets! You must buy a package that includes at least 5 nights' accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel plus minimum 5-day Magic Your Way Base Tickets to qualify for the 2 FREE nights and the 2 extra days on your tickets.

Extra days on a ticket don't cost that much, so the primary savings are on the hotel room portion, so the higher category hotels offer the most total savings.

To calculate your approximate savings on a "buy 4, get 7" package at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort:

Multiply the room rate (2009 or 2010) times 3 (savings of 3 nights' room rate).
Add $9.58 per person (ticket savings for the 3 extra days).
The total is your savings.
To calculate your approximate savings on a "buy 5, get 7" package at a Value resort:

Multiply the room rate (2009 or 2010) times 2 (savings of 2 nights' room rate).
Add $6.39 per person (approx ticket savings for the 2 extra days).
The total is your savings.
You can stay longer than 7 nights (up to 10 nights) with this package, but there is a maximum of 3 free nights and 3 extra days per ticket, per stay, if you will be staying in a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, or 2 free nights and 2 extra days per ticket, per stay, if you will be staying in a Value resort.

You can stay less than 7 nights, but you still must purchase 4 nights at a Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, or 5 nights at a Value resort, so you'll end up with fewer free nights/extra days. Obviously a 7-night stay is the best deal!

You can add the Quick Service Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, the regular Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, or the Deluxe Dining Plan for 2009 or 2010, but you will pay full price for your dining plan (no free days of dining).

The package includes standard Magic Your Way Base Tickets. You can upgrade them with the Park Hopper, Water Parks & More and/or No Expiration option(s), but you'll pay the regular price for those upgrades.

This offer cannot be applied to the Premium or Platinum packages or to "split stays" (for example, 4 nights at one hotel, 3 nights at another).

You must book this special package by 12/20/09.

is this a good deal or not?
we have never gone during peak season - prices seem very high :confused3
It's almost like the discount was not added??

Dates 3/27 ( Sat) - 4/3 (Sat)
POR FQ
2 Adults
1 Child
7 nts, 7 day base tx

w/ insurance ( insurance is $133)
$2,442.52

Tina

I think someone said that the deal only went up to March 27th ( I could be wrong) it sounds like your paying full price.

I think the design of this new deal may just be the reason we try a Moderate! I am sad it is not 7 for 4 at the values but happy with any savings.

Do you think that they will extend the dates to include April/May(after Easter and before memorial day)?

The deal ends on 3/27 and you can't get the discount past that day. I was just on with Disney and wanted the same week you have but was told that booking had changed from last year (you could get full discount if you booked the last day if would include the whole week). New policy is vacation must end on last day of deal to get the discount.

Well even though I'm not thrilled with this deal I booked. It's not as good as last year, no gift certificate :confused3 but it may be the best I'm going to get. I called and booked Feb 15-22 at PO Riverside standard view with Quickservice and 7 day base tickets. For 1 adult and 2 children my total was $1920. I so wish we weren't traveling during peak season, we've never paid these prices! Oh well I guess it's better than taking the kids out of school for a whole week. Again! It was only $150 more to book a mod than a value so even though we like POP a lot we're trying PO Riverside.

Oh BTW my CM asked where I heard about the dal and I told her the DIS. She said she was just asking because the deal wasn't supposed to be released until Wed but if people called up and specifically asked about it they could give it to them today. When I asked about it being tied to Disney Visa she said it wasn't a Disney Visa promotion and anyone could book it.

I was just told by my CM that Presidents Week was blacked out...
Anyone else heard this? I'd hate to stay on hold again trying another CM, but if she was wrong I will have to.
