Any tips for this? How many bottles should we bring? How did you wash them? Did you mix the formula in the hotel or just mix it with water in the parks?

We're staying at CSR so we'll have a fridge.

Any tips and advice would be appreciated.

We went in '03 when ds was only 3 months old. We used the Playtex nursers with the drop-in liners. Made it much easier to clean the bottle. We only brought one bottle, plus a bunch of the liners into the parks each day, although we did bring extra bottles and nipples from home so we had spares. It was easy to rinse off the nipples in the bathrooms. We used two of the divided containers for powdered formula that you can get at Target or Walmart. Held enough for 3 bottles in each, so six total. Just make sure you remember to fill it with the powder each morning before you leave! We also brought in a couple of bottles of water to use for the formula and no one objected to us bringing it in. We just said if was for the bottles. ;) They do sell powdered formula at the baby station if you need it. It's expensive, but we wound up running out the day before we left (ds decided to hit his 3 month growth spurt that week and eat his way through the parks. ). So it's there in a pinch.

Hi! We went in 'o4 when ds was 6 months old. We also used the Playtex Nursers with the disposable liners. That made it all SO easy. We brought along extra liners and nipples, and always carried one of those towlettes that has dishsoap on it. We had one of those divided formula containers, and made enough for 3 bottles for each outing. We brought along bottles aready premeasured with water, and just popped in the formula when we needed it. We have one of those little bags that attaches to the side of the stroller, so we just kept the bottles in there, and didn't mess with needing to bring the huge diaper bag with us (we just brought a smaller, portable bag with diaper supplies). It really wasn't a hassle at all. We did go back to our resort mid-day, so we were able to restock for the next outing.

Have fun!

We went when DS was about 8months. I had to use Dr. Brown's bottles with him, so it was kind of a pain with those extra pieces. I usually took 4 bottles into the park. I used the powdered formula and carried that in a rubbermaid container with a measuring scoop. I either would put bottled water into the bottle before we left the room or buy water in the parks and let it get a little warm before we mixed it with the formula. Luckily, DS was not picky about having his bottles real warm. I never used them, but there are Baby Centers in each park to warm up bottles and mix formula. I also brought some of the premixed ready to use stuff in the cans, just in case.

I waited to wash out the bottles until we got back to the room at night.

Ready to Feed was the way to go. Just buy it at home. It's outragioous there.

I don't know what formula you use, but similac sells these little packets of premeasured fomula for one 4 ounce bottle--or you use 2 for an 8 ounce bottle. The packets are really compact and great to travel with--I have found them at Babies R Us.

We put a can of forumula in a backpack with two bottles and two bottles of water every morning. Easy to just put it together and shake, we washed the bottles when we returned to the room for naps.

Hi! I brought 5 bottles, he took only 2-3 a day at that time...........I just wanted spares. I filled them with regular water at the hotel before we went out. I carried the little individual formula packets to mix in when needed. I washed them in the sink each night, with a little bottle of dish soap I brought with me..........just used a drop each sinkful. Mine was 9 months, turning 10 months on that trip, so didn't need anything sanitized anymore.

When my kids were small I used mostly the powder and brought inhte water and mixed as needed. DD was alot ypunger the first time I brought her so I also used the nusette bottles with disposible niples you get like when the baby is first born. That was the most convient way to go when i was driving down. Nothing to wash everything got thrown out.

We went when my son was about 3months old. I bought the similac premeasured little tubes of formula and bottled water. I also brought the disposable advent bottles so all i had to worry about was washing the nipples. I would bring my bottled water, some packets and a disposable bottle to the park and make as needed.

Don't forget to make use of the baby care stations. I had a hard time with my youngest taking a cold bottle. I was always able to slip into one of the stations to heat it really quick when we are in the parks. We used the playtex drop-ins too. We either pre-filled the bottles with just the dry formula or brought the pre-measured tumbler. The only problem was with the tumbler sometimes the sectioned parts would mix together -so I just brought the amount of bottles I needed for the park with the dry formula in it. Just add water and go- go- go!

"Back in my day"... :teeth: I used the disposable bottle liners, but would pre-measure the powder into the liner (no way I was paying extra for those packets!), then use a twist tie to close it. I put those inside the holder. Took one holder/ring and 2 nipples in a baggie. Drop the liner in the holder, add water, screw on the nipple/ring, shake and voila! Lightweight, compact, just washed the nipples in the sink with hot, soapy water.
