Get this Canon EOS Rebel T3 Bundle, listed at $1048.99, for $491.06 with free shipping after $400 mail-in rebate (your in-cart total will be $891.06). The bundle includes the 12.2MP D-SLR Camera with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens, the Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II Inkjet Photo Printer, a filter kit, a gadget bag, and a lens cleaning kit. The best price we could find for just the camera and lens was $445 and the next best for the printer was $299.99. There is no tax (except in NJ).
If you don't want/need the photo printer, you could probably sell it and put that towards the cost of the camera as well.
