Deal in the mail

last week I booked a week at yacht club in early May. This week we got a mailing from Disney for up to 30% off with deadline for travel May 31.
Do I just call them and change?
Do I lose my deposit?
What about the trip insurance I purchased?

I want to keep the same dates and tickets.
I figure someone here has had this happen before.

Call WDW and let them know you received a unique offer code and ask if you can apply it to your existing reservation. If it isn't applicable to the resort/room you've booked, they may have some other resort/room options for you to choose from. If something is available, they should be able to simply modify your current reservation so your deposit and trip insurance would stay as is.
