I know this is technically not Disney, but since the event is so close, I wanted to make sure people would see it.
On this Saturday, Sept 15th, Knott's Berry Farm has its Deaf Awareness Day. There will be volunteer interpreters for shows and attractions all day long, plus lots of deaf/HoH families, interpreters, students, and ASL enthusiasts. There is more information and discounted tickets available:

The discounted tickets will NOT be available day of, so if you want the $30 entrance rate, buy in advance.
My wife is losing her hearing, so we are both learning ASL now (me a little more than her). We've been following the interpreters around Disneyland for a year (and in fact, we have become friends with some of them, they see is so often), and this will be an awesome chance to see another local park with sign language!!
Hope to see some people there.
