So right now I am sitting outside my room at Caribbean Beach for a half hour waiting for someone to let me in because my door sensor isn't working. I wish I could say this was the first time, but it's not. It happen to me 2 years ago at Pop Century. I'm starting to panic cause I need to return my scooter and pack to leave in the morning. Anyway, is this common or do I just have really bad luck?

Sorry this has happened! And bad timing.

Have to ask….are you placing your band mickey to mickey?
Almost every visit I notice a room on my walk that has the face plate off of the sensor or looks broken.
I use keyless locks at home and sometimes the batteries just wear out quicker on doors with frequent use.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Did you try all of the magic bands in your party? Sometimes certain MB's work better than others (no idea why). Or it could be that it's totally broken :(

I am by myself, and my old magic band was in my room. They came right away after my 2nd call. It has fresh batteries now. They got bell services to come for the scooter too.

If you were calling from your room, alas you were getting a call center. That's why it took so long. They had to contact the resort and get someone to go to you.

Sad but true, it's best to go straight back to the lobby in situations like this.
