I've heard about people having their hotel keys and credit cards deactivated because they were in their purse/bag too close to their cell phone or a magnet in the purse. Any truth to this? :confused3If so, any suggestions to prevent this from happening? I'm planning on carrying everything I need in the parks in a small baggallini bag.

We're leaving this Saturday:banana: and it seems like there's still way too much to do.

This is not just a Disney problem, but a problem at many hotels. If this happens, usually a quick trip to the front desk will fix it. If you're particularly concerned about it, keep your key in the back pocket of your pants rather than in your bag. I kept my key in my Vera Bradley holder right next to my cell phone and didn't have a problem all trip so I wouldn't worry too much about this!

The best thing I ever bought was an alumawallet think thats what its called prevents this from happening and from anyone "scanning" info from your cards

:thumbsup2

Have you used this bag before? Do your credit cards still work? If so, then you won't have a problem.

Does the baggallini bag even have a magnetic closure? If not, you won't have a problem.

It's true, it happens. It doesn't happen all the time. Apparently the new chip credit cards are affecting room key cards too.

A hotel with an older machine will have it happen more easily than ones with a newer machines.

That said, I've adcidentally carried my key card next to my phone multiple times with no problems and had problems on other times. Never had probs with my KTTW though.

I do try and put it in different sections of my purse with at least one thing separating them.
