does anyone have any pics of DeVine? would love to know what to look for when we go!

I do, but my scanner isn't working. If you stop by Guest Relations on the way in, they can give you her scheduled appearances. If you are in Harrambee you will see Tusker House to your left, if coming from the front of the park. You will see an ice cream shop in the window to your right. Turn right at the ice cream window. Walk about 50 ft and look to your left. You will see a big wooden gate... she emerges from there. She only comes out 2 or 3 times a day and the last time is usually around 12:30 in the afternoon. She will be on vine covered stilts with vines all over her. Her face is a golden green and she has some grape looking leaves on her head. She is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!

After numerous trips to AK I finally saw her this past fall. She was truly amazing to see. Those pictures are really good. I have a few but have a hard time finding her face in them. These are much better.

We have several on our home page. www.mckensey.com Just click on the happy faces, thats us at EPCOT and look under DEC 2003 they are in the 10th and 11th row down. It took several years to find her and its was worth the effort.

Only DS16 and I have had a chance to see her after all our trips! She was fabulous so see! You should have seen us trying to explain to the rest of the family what she was and what we saw! LOL!

We were lucky enough to see DeVine on our last trip. While I was able to get a couple of pictures, yours are much better.

As far as what DeVine is, she's a "character" (for lack of a better term) who is in AK dressed as a huge vine. She tries to blend into the background and will occasionally move. We found her just before she left to, I'm assuming, take a break. We found her between Africa and Asia.

She can usually be found on the path between Africa and Asia.

When you get to AK, just ask a CM when and where DeVine will be performing. She seems to come out of the RFC area at times. She is very interesting to see!
