DD's trip - did I forget anything?

This is what i've set up for DD's september trip to WDW (and NYC).
(the trip is DD and her friend - DF - also a girl, both 23 years old)

please tell me if i've forgotten to schedule/reserve anything. or if you have any ideas for other surprises i could arrange for them.

WDW:
1. tickets
- DD: has a premium annual pass
- DF: I have the 14 day ultimate ticket on order (it hasn't arrived yet and i'm getting nervous - but hopefully it will work out)

2. Halloween party - tickets purchased for one of the nights she's there

3. hotel and free dining package

4. two surprise welcome baskets ordered to be delivered to their room on their arrival day

5. 14 ADRs (for 2 weeks of free dining) in the order they eat there:
Chrystal Palace - dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe - dinner
Chefs de France - dinner
Coral Reef - lunch
50's Prime Time - lunch
Chef Mickey's - dinner
Sci Fi - lunch
Tony's Town Square - dinner
Yak and Yeti - lunch
Tokyo Dining - dinner
Spoodles - dinner
Boma - dinner
The Wave - dinner
Raglan Road - dinner

6. Magical Express - in making this list i just realized i have to contact ME to arrange for their airport transportation - i have to find the phone number...anyone know the ME phone number?

have i left anything out at WDW? any other things i could do for them? surprises?

NYC:
in New York, i've arranged tickets for them for Wicked for their last night in new york. That's all i could think of to arrange for them in advance since they're staying in a youth hostel.
Any other ideas for new york?

It depends on your budget but a helicoptor tour over Manhattan is amazing! If you do decide to do this then book it for the first full day as if the weather is not good then it gets resheduled.

In WDW you could order a cake to be delivered at one of their meals or even to some hotel rooms...I will find the thread link for lots of info on this.

You could also pre order the photopass for them...if you pre order it then it's cheaper and when they come back if they haven't used it or only have a couple of pics and it's not worth it then you can get a full refund.

I think your plans are great! Would they enjoy a tour? There are loads to choose from. Or how about a Photopass CD? I think if you pre-order it you get some money off (never had one before so not 100% sure).

DD's birthday is the week after she's at WDW - so i could order her a cake for one of the ADR meals...hmmm...i wonder which restaurant i should pick....decisions decisions..

thanks!! i have to say that planning the trip for her has been lots of fun!! ....i didn't force myself on her...i waited a while...and then i asked her if she'd like me to help her with the arrangements and she said, "yes, please, would you?"....so i happily took over....the only thing she arranged were her flights and the hostel accomodations in new york...

i only wish i could go with them....but she and i were there this past november, just the 2 of us, and it was lovely....

this will be fun - her friend has never been to WDW or to the United States....how exciting!!!

I bet you will be living each day with them in your mind though as you know exactly what they will be doing.

i will be totally living their trip in some kind of virtual reality
the next best thing to being there....

i was just exploring the dis site and noticed that DU offers an online service for the purchase of a 2 park 7 day ticket for universal....and it only requires a 2 day in advance purchase...i think i'll do that for them, once they're in new york....it seems like a very good deal...

indeed - i'd love to be going with them..

i just found another thing i should do in advance...
i noticed that DU offers advance purchase of a multi-day 2 park unlimited ticket for Universal...that sounds like a great deal to me....
and it only has to be purchased 2 days in advance...
i checked the universal price and the DU price is cheaper and for a better ticket...sounds good...

Wow - can't think of anything you have missed out. Another vote here for pre-ordering the photopass. I had hours of fun when I came home, cropping pics and adding borders etc.

Can I just say what a fab Mum I think you are. Your DD and her friend should have a great time.

DD's friends 14 day ultimate ticket arrived today!!!!

on the website it says it will arrive in 7 to 10 days, but it actually took 12 business days by my calculation....so i was just a tad worried....

but it got here!!!!

i'm so happy...
so now both DD and DF have essentially equal tickets..

DD has a premium annual pass, allowing her unlimited access to everything at WDW..
and
DF has a 14 day ultimate ticket giving her unlimited access to everything at WDW for the entire time the two of them are there (exactly 14 days)..

perfect!!!

ok -
so i'm working on the final details.

1. Made the ME reservations (the ME ticket and baggage tags arrived in less than a week - it cost them $4.88 to mail it to us )

2. still have to make the NYC airport transportation reservations - haven't had a chance to ask DD if she's ok with the blue van

3. created a calendar with the special events, EMH, suggested touring schedule for the first week and ADRs in it

4. i'm working now on the list of numbers and stuff -
