As you know, DD6 was out of school yesterday, and today, and she missed her class party yesterday.
Today DD7 brought home her papers, and ornaments etc. that she had made for the class tree. I finally had a chance to go through the bag of papers/gifts, and found a card from her classmates.
Her teacher had printed it up on the computer, and it said to the effect of
"Dear DD6,
We sorry to hear your not feeling well. We really missed you at our party yesterday. We sure hope your feeling better very soon. We put your special treats in the bag for you. You will find some suprises from us too. Have a great vacation and we can't wait to see you in the New Year."
Then you open it up and they all wrote to "get well, love susie....feel better love bobbie etc.."
It was the cutest! I've put it in her scrapbook pile!.
