So my patience with my kids is wearing a little thin today, but if I don't laugh about it...
How many times have you all cleaned something in your house only to be negated minutes later by your kids?
I'm sure many of you have experienced stuff like this:
You mop the kitchen floor, while it's still wet, kids are walking across it...
You just clean the kitchen counters or bathroom counters to find crumbs and toothpaste shortly after...
You've just put all the dishes in the dishwasher, washed out the sink and new dirtydishes go in the sink, not the dishwasher...
You empty the trash, minutes later, there's trash in the garbage can...
You clean all the toilets and for like *just a little while* you wish no one would use them, they're so nice and clean!
That's just the way it goes with kids, it's like Groundhog's Day~
Chop wood, and carry water as my mother always used to say.
So I get it, but then today:
My girls cleaned their bathroom all by themselves! They did a fantastic job and it took them a really long time. I was really impressed and they were very proud.
Meanwhile, I already poured bleach into all the other toilets to clean them. In the meantime, I really had to go to the bathroom
My DDs looked at me and said: "DO. NOT. USE. OUR. BATHROOM!!!!"
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh! KIDS!!!
