We're going to WDW for just one night to celebrate DD's 21st birthday. We're bringing her 2 best friends. My plan was to go to the dueling piano bar at Boardwalk (can't remember the name) and then to PI. We've been to PI in the early evening before to go to the Comedy Warehouse & AC. Is there something else there that we would enjoy? DH & I aren't really dancers but if the girls would enjoy some of the other places we're willing to go wherever - and will probably go on home and leave them partying if we get too tired!

Has anyone been to the piano bar? We loved the dueling piano's on the Wonder and are hoping for something like that.

If anyone has other ideas please share!

Jellyrolls!! We love that bar. Sure, the cover is a little steep ($8 I think) but its somewhere we can spend a whole night. Get there about half an hour after they open on a weeknight and be prepared for a lot of fun. We did just that and for the first hour there were more waitresses than patrons. The preformers came out and joked around with us and did all the songs we requested. It was still fun after the crowd rolled in and we ended up staying there for 5 hours! We had the same plan as you, try that out for a bit then catch a bus to PI but we were having so much fun we didnt leave. I dont know much about dancing (:sad2:white boy genes) at PI and when we did hit up PI, most of the clubs were empty. I would have been interested in line dancing at PI (how my wife and I met) but I guess Disney thought that was too "redneck" and did away with it years ago.
Anyway, I know its different when youre young and finally able to (legally) drink but I highly recommend staying at Jellyrolls - I know we are this fall.

Jellyrolls is definately the place to be on your birthday!
Make sure you let the pianomen know it's her birthday:thumbsup2
We fly down for short vacations just to go to JR!

If you're going to take them to PI, do a Saturday night because it's always crowded. Other nights are hit or miss depending on what else is going on in Orlando, whether it's tourist season or not and/or if any large conventions in town.

You might save JR's for a different trip or let the girls do PI while you and your husband do JR's. While PI advertises that they're open until 2am, the truth is that the lights come on between 1:30am-1:40am and everyone is sent home. So an evening there by itself goes by very fast, especially if you do a comedy show or AC and try to hit all the clubs at least once.

Does anyone know Roughly the prices for drinks at Jelly Rolls? I know wdwinfo has prices for many lounges but I was unable to find the prices for JR's...Also What time do they CLose, my guess is 1:30-1:45ish much like PI?

Just now saw these answers! Thanks all. We're going this Saturday night and we're really excited about it! I've already got the tickets to PI - so we'll definitely do it! We might decide to just wait and do Jellyrolls another time if it's not a good idea to try and do both in the same night.
