DDP with 2 reservations?

I have two different DVC reservations for 3 nights each for a total of 6 nights. I wanted to stay at two different resorts hence the two different reservations. I plan on adding the DDP, do I need to use each set of dining plan credits within the separate 3 night stays? Is there a way to add the dining plan for the full 6 night period to allow flexibility in dining or do I need to use the credits within each 3 night period? Thanks so much.

I am doing a split stay with the dining plan on both reservations also. You will have until midnight of the last day of the 1st reservation to use or lose the credits.
I am not going to start using my second reservation's dining credits until the day after checkin.
