DDP Vs OOP

So I can't decide if I am better off with the dining plan on my trip coming up in August. Last year I went and if was just DGF and I. We did not use the ddp and it actually saved us money. This trip it will be myself, DGF, and 3 kids. One kid will be 10+ and the other 2 are 9 and under. The ddp will be about $1300 for the trip. We will be going to Chef Mickey's, 50's Prime Time, Crystals, 1900 Park, Via Napoli, and Whispering Canyon for meals. Any thoughts on if the plan is worth it or not going to these places or should I stick with paying out of pocket.

My suggestion go to a website that lists menus with prices and calculate what a typical meal you all would eat costs and see if it's more or less than the $1300, we line dxdp just so when we go we know we've pretty much covered and prepaid all our costs up front - obv excluding tips and souvenirs

We used to use ddp but now go OOP. I looked at in this manner. DDP is pp $60/ day(latest cost I found). Cost of a snack is app $4, 1 qs is app $10 for burger fries and ap $3 for drink = $13 + $4+ $17 leaving $43 for supper. resulting in having to go to the higher prices TS to break even for each day. I went a made a sreadsheet of where we would go checked the prices on Allears.net and found that for us doing oop was best for us.
Per your selections at 50's the highest meal cost is $22, drink $3 dessert $7 that comes to $32 for that meal and that you have given WDW $11 for that day.
Crystal Palace supper is $43 come out even for that day
whispering Canyon you come out even by ordering the most expensive items.
