DDP using DVC points?

Forgive me if I'm asking a question that has already been asked...I couldn't find an answer while searching threads..

We MAY be using DVC points when we go back to the world in October (we may be guests of someone that owns DVC)...can we still book the DDP during our stay if we're using points?

How would that work?

You will need to have the DVC member call Member Services to tell them you want the DDP added to your reservation. Then, you will just pay for the DDP when you check into the resort. It must be added ahead of time, but must be paid for at check in. We've rented points twice before and had the DDP both times. Never had a problem. The dining credits will be attached to your room cards just like if you had gotten it with a package deal.

DH and I MAY be using my boss' points, but members of my family will be travelling with us, so I wanted us to all have the "same stuff" so to speak..
