DDP- use through day of check out?

Hi. We are new to dining plan (but not to wow) and are doing the stay, play, dine in Jan 2015.
The CM on the phone made it sound like the dining plan expired at the day of check out and could not be used that day. If we check out on Thursday, can we use credits on thursday or must they be used by wed?

Credits are good until midnight of the day you check out, so you're good to use them on Thursday.

This question prompts one of my own. I arrive morning of Feb 12 and leave Feb 21st. I understand that I can use my DDP on the 21st with my last night at BC the 20th but I believe that I cannot use it on the 12th if I still want to be able to use it on the 21st. Correct? And it seems to me that I read here a long time ago that if say I would use it at 5:00pm on the 12th (day I check in) I can only use it up to 5:00pm on the 21st. Is this true? I figure that I should stay off the DDP on the 12th so can use it 21st

If you could follow that convoluted reasoning I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you Not New to WDW but new to DDP

If you are on the regular dining plan, you will have 9 TS, 9 QS, and 9 snack credits that can be used at any time in any order until midnight of your check out day. It does not matter what time you start using the credits. If you want to do two TS on one day and two QS on another, you can do that. If you want to use all your credits on one day, you can do that.

So, for the 12th, you can use any number of credits you want to, but once the 9 of each are gone, they are gone.
