This was posted by Huey on the 2008 DDP sticky, but I thought it deserved its own thread for those who aren't wading through the super-long stickey.

Some updates to the DDP list as published on the DVC page : http://advc.disney.go.com/media/dvc...ng/disneydiningplan/2008_DisneyDiningPlan.pdf

Also, I called a few minutes ago, after seeing this list, and asked about Teppan Edo, Tokyo Dining, and Tutto Italia, and was told be a Disney Dining supervisor that all 3 are still listed as pending. It hasn't been confirmed that they will participate, but it also hasn't been decided that they won't. She suggested calling back Dec 1 to find out the final decision.

I saw on the DVC DDP list that Pepper Market is now listed. Since DDP no longer includes tips, what happens with this CS location?

The compulsory gratuity for Pepper Market wasn't included under DDP this year either. We ate there a few times in September and always had to pay the gratuity separately. I would assume it's the same in 2008.

Hmmmmm???? I called this weekend and booked Tutto Italia and was told it IS DEFINITELY on the 2008 DDP. I asked how many credits it would require and was told one. Go figure!

Thanks Colleen27, I'm still looking forward to the final word on Teppan Edo :goodvibes .

I've been told *several* times that all 3 of the Epcot restuarants I'm concerned about have signed on. I've also been told once that the Japanese restaurants have not and will not sign on. And I explained that to the very nice CM I spoke with this morning, who then put me on hold to verify her understanding of the status of the restaurants I asked about with her supervisor. Disney dining doesn't seem to be "in the loop" when it comes to the additions before they happen, so I'm not really banking on anything I hear from them at this point.
