Hi all

I'm currently on holiday at SSR and just have to blog about the fantastic value the DDP is, we've been here a week now and experienced nothing but fantastic food at no cost what so ever, does life get any better!!! We're already looking at booking for next year.:cool1::)

excellent news I am trying to decide between SSR and the CBR are there nice restaurants at the resort too

The only downside to CBR is that you won't get any table service in with your DDP, as the resort (while very beautiful!) is only a moderate. SSR is a deluxe so you get table service in with your DDP without having to upgrade :)

So glad you're having a good time Bigmack :yay:

Sometimes, if you enjoy your one TS per day, it's still worth the upgrade cost and the slightly lower resort cost.

And by the way: :welcome:

You'll have to write some reviews when you come back - I would like to know which restaurants have been your favourites.:)

Glad you are enjoying it. Upto this year we have paid £100/nt or less for a studio at OKW with free DDP for upto 4 people, outstanding value. This year its costing us £118, add tips ontop its just getting to limit of its value to me.
Next year prices are too high unless Complete Orlando are cheaper when they release their prices.
We are lucky enjoying offsite and offsite dining just as much as onsite so it doesn't matter to us, if you prefer onsite hotel & dining then next years prices are still very good.

Welcome Blozzamouse :goodvibes

The resort is very big but I don't find it to strenuous, it takes us around 7 minutes from our room to the main building and as for the buses there fantastic. They arrive every 15-20 minutes and take you to where ever you want to go. I was seriously looking at hiring a car but there really is no need. Everything is so well organised.

Glad you are having a great time (pictures/review please if you get chance when you get back - we haven't had any food porn on here for a few weeks!)

First time we went on ddp in 2009 we had a fantastic time.

DH who hadn't paid much attention in the planning stages couldn't believe it. Our first TS meal was at Raglan Rd. The bill was over $100 for a lovely meal for the 3 of us and we only had to pay the tip, will never forget his face.

SSR is beautiful!

The resort is large but we have stayed at Congress park twice and found it to be perfect for us!

Buses were fine we did have to allow more time for animal kingdom
As it stops at the one of the water parks first! Buses for Epcot during food and wine with Epcot EMH evenings were always quiet busy you may need to allow extra time if heading there one of those nights!

We love having the free dining plan and think it makes the holiday really reasonable and for having $200 too will be brilliant!
