Anyone use a TS credit for breakfast at non-buffets like Kona or Concourse? How do they handle "what you get" as opposed to app, entree, dessert?

If you use your TS at Breakfast (Non Buffet), you are entitled to Juice, Entree and Non-Alcoholic Beverage. You do not get an appetizer or dessert with TS Breakfast. If you order any sides (bacon, etc) they will be charged OOP, unless they were included in your entree.

I don't get it - what's the deal with getting a juice AND a non-alcoholic beverage?

Remind me to pay OOP for my breakfasts. That seems dumb.

We didn't get it either.

At Boma breakfast last fall we had frunch. When we finished eating, the server asked if we wanted to order smoothies to go. We said no. She said they were included, so we might as well have them. At the time, I hadn't heard of 2 drinks being included. We declined again. As she started pushing them again, we realized it would increase her tip, so we ended up ordering them.

It's not so odd to offer 2 drinks at breakfast. Some people like to start their breakfast with juice. Your other non-alcoholic beverage would be coffee, tea or milk.

I wouldn't of ordered them if I had been "pushed into it," I don't like it when servers or anyone tries to get people to add-on unneeded things, I find it tacky. Now, if she had just mentioned they were included, and didn't push it, I probably would of gotten a smoothie.

Hey if I am not having to pay more for it, then I don't care if they push, except I don't like smoothies.

We ate breakfast at Kona last week. We used a DDP credit because we had cancelled something else earlier and had a credit left over. We got juice and coffee included. It would have been nice to have a fruit plate or something, but that's not how it worked. Our server was a little snippy, too. She said MOST people don't use DDP credits for breakfast. OK, well, SORRY!

I had the pineapple macadamia pancakes and they were YUMMY!:)

If you get juice and a non-alcoholic drink, can you have the juice during the breakfast and get a bottle of water to go?

We used one or two counter services every morning.
Somedays we got a milk and water or juice and water.
Most days we each got 2 waters, when its 95 outside they go down fast.

When I go with the deluxe DDP next year, I'll be using quite a few credits for TS breakfasts. On my list are; Kona, Ohana, Boatwrights, Boma, Crystal Palace, Akershus, and CRT.

Breakfast isn't one of the best ways to use at TS because you get no appetizer or dessert. I reccomend just paying OOP. I hope it all works out well for you :)
