Forgive me if this has already been answered but on the DDP do you have to use the TS or can it be replaced with all CS. If I can't get ressies for 8 TS(8 day length of stay) can I use a CS to replace it. I hope I am explaining myself correctly.

That is a really good question. I'm not sure of the answer but would like to know as well. I know with the deluxe dining plan you can replace TS with CS but I'm not sure about the regualr dining plan. When are you going?

Are you going during free dining?

From what I've read, the last couple of years they have allowed people to replace a TS meal for a CS meal. They haven't made an announcement about that yet, that I know of.

I don't know if you can do this normally.

We're going 9/20-9/27 during free dining and I am having a problem getting ressies at the places we want for dinner everything is for lunch or late afternoon, so I figured if we can't get to use all out TS credits can I just go to a CS and use it there?:confused3

Normally, no you can't use a TS for a CS. At least once in the past during free dining, Disney did allow TS for CS credit exchange, but there's no guarantee that they will do that again.

BTW, you mentioned a "8 day length of stay". DDP credits are based on nights not days, so if your trip is 7nts/8days you'll have 7 TS credits, 7 CS credits and 7 snacks per person. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of that.

My recommendation is to keep trying to get ADR's. Keep an open mind to those late lunch/early dinner options. It can be really nice to go have your sitdown meal late afternoon and then have more rides available with shorter lines during "normal" dinner time. You might want to have breakfast in your room, snack during the day, a late sitdown "liner" (lunch/dinner) and then an evening CS. :goodvibes

Do you think you could take the lunch ressies and then do CS for dinner. I know that is backwards but that would probably work.

Yes, I already have 4 late afternoon ressies2:45 for TS and we plan on eating our breakfast every am as our CS but I would like to get a normal time frame for dinner at least once, Trying for LeCellier, calling everyday but all they have is 8:00 or later and my DH would never go for that tooo late to eat, its our 25th aniversary so that is why I would like at least one regular dinner ressie. If I ha ve to I can always use a TS credit for a breakfast.

Yes I do realize that its the # of nights, just mistyped- thanks for the headsup::yes::

LeCellier can be hard to get. Just keep trying or you might want to consider a different restaurant. You could book something else and then the day of the ADR check and see if LeCellier is available, then cancel the other ADR. Les Chefs de France also has a very good filet and creme brulee :goodvibes

booked Cape May Cafe just now along with Boma- Cape May seemed interesting since we are from New England and got them both for dinner- so I am satisfied with our ressies . Thanks for all your suggestions and help with figuring out the DDP-
