DDP should be an option

WE ALways Tip... 15-20%. It is based on how well we are served. To Insure Prompt Service ( TIPS)
Nope. Fallacy. That's an afternym; tip is not an acronym for anything (neither is tips). Money given/paid/granted AFTER a service is provided cannot ENSURE (not insure, that's the wrong word to begin with) quality of previous service.

Nice try, though ;)

The dates were for the AP rates released for this spring
Check-in dates: 3/30/08-5/21/08. Use code FJC on weekdays, FJG on weekends. Your stay will be priced on a day-by-day basis, so rates may be higher on weekends.

Now Disney is offering dining if you are an AP holder without the 1 day tix. This is bookable anytime and can be changed if AP rate comes out later.

Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Package with Dining - As of late February 2008, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can purchase a special vacation package that includes either the standard Dining Plan or the Deluxe Dining Plan. The Dining Plans are not discounted with this package. The room rate on the Annual Passholder Package is not always discounted, but during certain times of year, a discount may be offered. This package does not include admission tickets, since obviously Annual Passholders don't need that component of a vacation package.

I hope this helpes.

Thank you- breathing a sigh of relief. We aren't AP holders yet so I don't have access to the website. Reading the thread I thought they were only allowing you to book the DDP certain times of year.

Well it does, usually, make the server perform better service when they know they are working for tips. When I was a waitress many years ago I made sure I did a great job because I knew the tip would be better.

The CM said it was not available for me. So I could not book a room only( either with or with out a room discount) and add the DDP. One said I could One CM said I could not.So I have a room only booked... and she said that MAYBE I could add the Dining plan if it was offered.

Well, I was operating in theoretical space because I didn't pay for anything - just kept changing reservation criteria - but I priced room only plus DDP and room only plus DxDDP vacations without passes on the WDW reservations site. I logged in as AP holder with AP number and password then "reserved" many rooms with and without DDP and DxDDP. Like I said, I never paid for anything just changed travel dates or resort location or dining option but I was able to quote all those options not a one included park tickets because I already have an AP that remains valid during the dates I was considering. Hope this helps. Definitely tweak reservation on line or call back and get a more knowledgable CM - then let us know how it goes...
