DDP segmenting question at BWV

For my upcoming 7 night stay at BWV we are arriving very late in the evening... so I want to exclude the 1st night from the DDP and purchase it for days 2-7.

Will I need to go back to the front desk in the morning of day 2 to get new key cards? We will be on the regular DDP.


***off topic a bit...I stayed at BWV in 2004 and they were testing a separate check in desk for DVCers in the villa lobby. Do they still have this?

Yes, you will need to go back to the desk....

As for the DVC desk I don't recall it being seperated last July....

They tested a seperate check-in for BCV, it has ended.

No need for a seperate check-in at The BoardWalk as the Inn and Villas feed off the main lobby.

You'd have to go back to the desk on the second day to get your DDP started. I've kept an extra day of meals before if we are going to be dining someplace that requires 2 meal credits or if we can use them on the day we are leaving.
