Am doing the dining plan for this first time on my next trip. My paperwork from my TA (which I now need to find again) said that it was a 10-day (9 night) MYW package plan, with a 10-day park hopper pass and a 10 day meal plan.

I'm confused as I'm reading elsewhere that the meal plan is based on room nights, not days. Which is right? Do I have 9 or 10 TS/CS/Snack credits coming to me on this trip? Just trying to figure out if I am going to be paying for meals out of pocket. Can you purchase an extra day of just the meal plan?

The number of credits is based on the number of nights. Each person in your party will have 9 credits of each type.

You have all 10 days to USE those credits.

Thank you for the info. Looks like I will have to do a TS & CS meal out of pocket. Now to decide which one's.

You many find that you don't need to do at least the CS OOP. We had an 8 night plan with fully 9 days (arrived 9 am, departed 6 pm). We had enough times when we shared CS that we even had enough left to get "carry out" food for the airport.

As to TS, you could plan to do the least expensive OOP. Or you could plan to do the last one OOP thinking that you may have had so much food during the vacation that you are no longer interested in ordering appetizer, entree, and dessert.
