So this is the first trip I'm going to get the DDP. It's just myself, DS and DN, ages 7 and 8. We will get to our room at about 7:00 and we leave for home probably around 5:00pm. Do most of you skip breakfast or eat in the room? Or eat a good breakfast, snack, then a big dinner??

We've used this iteration of the DDP twice. Both times we used most of our QS for breakfast in the villa. We used TS credits for either lunch or dinner and paid OOP using DDE for the other meal.

However, it would be very easy to use snack credits for breakfast. You could use QS and TS for lunch and dinner as your plans fit.

When we used the DDP we only had 2 meals a day. We would either have a CS for breakfast or lunch and then an early (5:30-6:00pm) TS for dinner. We usually used our snack for soda or water when we were in the parks. Most of the days we just had coffee for breakfast and then had lunch at 11:00am using a CS. We thought this worked great because we dined early and missed the crowds but this was just adults not sure about how this would work with kids.

thanks - I think I solved my big problem! I was thinking I could squeeze in a dinner before we left for home on Sunday (6/24) because we have a 7:50 flight, but dining said I would never make it, plus I had to be back at my resort for the bus, (4:30) so I will worry about dinner at the airport. That solves that!

Right now we are at SSR, arriving at MCO at 5:50, so I can either eat at DTD, or Turf Club and that will be good, waitlisted for Beach Club and VWL, so if I get that, everything will change!!!

On one trip we used our last QS credits for sandwiches for the plane trip. At BCMarketplace they were used to this and packed the sandwiches for transport. Your bus back is early enough that you probably would want to eat the sandwiches at the airport though...otherwise too long not refrigerated. But it's an idea if you find yourself with extra QS at the end of your trip.
