I am doing a split stay. First at GF and then at AKL. Now, my question is this: I read that when you switch resorts, you lose all credits you had. Meaning that if I (using the QSDP) have 2 CS and 4 SC left when I check in to AKL from GF, I will lose them? IS that true?

Partially correct. Each part of the stay is really a separate reservation. The credits are good until midnight of the day you check out. So in your case, you would have to use all your GF credits, by midnight of your GF checkout day.

I agree with PP. It's not about losing your dining credits because you are doing a split stay. The Dining Plans are set up so that you lose your credits on check-out day, at midnight. I think that's pretty generous, and technically could take care of your meal needs for check-in day at your second resort, which is the same day as check-out day at your first resort.

If you wanted the Dining Plan for your second resort stay, you would need to book that separately, same as you booked the second resort separately. The Dining Plan credits can't be transferred to another resort.

It's easy to use up snack credits on check-out day. Lots of pre-packaged goodies can be tossed in a bag to-go.
