Does anyone ever do Club Level AND DDP? How do you all work it out? We are considering it and maybe using the opportunity to do some Signature Dining.

It is totally doable. You eat breakfast in the lounge, CS or ts for lunch and dinner. Remember the evenings are just some light appetizers. I wouldn't do it if you are doing dxdp but it is a nice complement to the ddp.

Yes thats what we did last Sept and plan on doing this Sept. Like PP said CL breakfast, use SC for mid morning snack, CS lunch, head back to resort to relax and have snacks at CL, TS a bit later and dessert back at CL to end the evening..

We've done club level and the basic dining plan twice. We liked it. We ate in the lounge for breakfast, CS lunch, TS dinner. We used the lounge for snacks and drinks in the afternoon. We took a bunch of drinks back to the room for when we got back at night.

Thank you! We've done DDP and Club level before, but the CL was a free upgrade :banana:and we had no idea ahead of time. We definitely made use of it for breakfast and snacks. Since we are probably paying for both this time, I thought it would be a good opportunity to try a SD experience, like Hoop-Dee-Doo and miss a TS one night and make up for it in the concierge lounge.

What type of things do you get at the club level? We are looking at booking the Poly next year with the ddp. Maybe this would enhance our experience since we are a family of 5.

Well, for one thing, you get snacks, appetizers and drinks all day in the lounge as well as a continental breakfast. Sometimes, CL means a better location. You also get a lot of personal service from the concierge. We really enjoyed being able to come in from a long day at the parks, grab a few things from the lounge and head back to our rooms and veg out with some goodies. We think it's worth the extra cost with the 40% discount, but I don't know if we'd want to pay the extra at full price, especially if we were doing the DDP as well.
The one time we did CL, it was a free upgrade at the Grand Floridian and we definitely had a good experience with the Concierge. They just seem (for the most part) to go above and beyond for the guests. My daughter was sick with what we thought was a tummy issue and we ordered from the delivery pharmacy. By the time the meds arrived, my daughter was screaming in the bathroom. My DH looked outside and saw the concierge literally running to pick the meds up from the front desk and running back to the bring them to us. We were very impressed.
