DDP or Tables in wonderland

I need info. I had thought we would buy an AP and get the DDP but inanother question Tables of Wonderland was brought up. I don't know much about it. any info would help. What would you do? We have 2 adults and 1 child who will be 9 when we arrive but 10 when we leave.

Another question I thought if you arrived at age 9 child prices apply for dining plan etc. Is that information correct as well?
