DDP on your room key or park pass?

I've never used the DDP, but have friends that are going next week that are using it. They've asked me what they get to show that they are covered under the plan.
I haven't a clue, and have been unable to find anything on this.

Your DDP credits AND your park tickets are part of your KTTW card (which is your room key) when you book a Disney package.
